Unfair | A Bookworm's View

https://abookwormsview.wordpress.com/2016/10/07/unfair

A Bookworm's View. October 7, 2016. The book is captivating yet it is also disturbing to realize how at any point in the judicial system one tiny mistake, false statement and/or misplaced evidence had detrimental effects on the outcome of a defendant’s trial leading to an innocent person being incarcerated. It’s even more unsettling to realize how many of those who’ve been falsely accused have been imprisoned. Posted in Non-Fiction Book Review. The Girl from Venice →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Miriam | A Bookworm's View

https://abookwormsview.wordpress.com/2016/08/10/miriam

A Bookworm's View. August 10, 2016. Mesu Andrews biblical historical fiction novel recounts the story of the Israelites captivity as Egyptian slaves through the viewpoint of Miriam (Moses’ sister). Each of the chapters is headed with scriptural verses to direct you to the biblical account that the chapter illustrates. I received a copy of this book from “Blogging for Books” in exchange for my honest review. Posted in Biblical Fiction. Historical Fiction Book Review. Disappointing Read →.

Chick Lit | A Bookworm's View

https://abookwormsview.wordpress.com/dystopian-fiction/chick-lit

A Bookworm's View. Literature intended to appeal primarily to women, especially books that emphasize human relationships and emotions rather than action or adventure. I’ve read everything (that I can get my hands on) written by Cecelia Ahern. Some of her books have yet to be made available in the U.S. and sometimes it’s difficult to determine if a book is the same story because it may have different titles in different countries. Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern. 29 by Adena Halpern. Enter your comment here.

A Bookworm's Perspective | An Avid Reader's Thoughts on All Things Fiction

A Bookworm's Perspective. An Avid Reader's Thoughts on All Things Fiction. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. August 14, 2012. So again I did the whole audio book thing this week (or is it month at this point). By Tahereh Mafi was also another free-be from my local public library. I gotta say, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides. July 12, 2012. In keeping up with my theme of not paying for anything, I got this book from the library and listened to...

A Book Worm

Somewhere for me to empty my mind of largely book related gumpf. Tuesday, 22 November 2016. So almost another full year has passed by and here I am again, feeling rathe guilty about my lack of activity on here during just about the whole of 2016. So while I cannot promise that 2017 will lead to me being any more dedicated than I have been throughout 2016, I can pledge to at least try. Friday, 25 December 2015. So it's Christmas day and I have been a bad, bad book blogger. Friday, 28 August 2015. The rema...

Bookwormy Mama | a working mom with a love of books and a little crazy mixed in

A working mom with a love of books and a little crazy mixed in. January 5, 2017. At times it seems the littlest Pie is a grumpy old man in an almost 3 year old body. Its awesome because it always makes me laugh and not so awesome sometimes because well, he’s a grumpy puss a lot. But he can also be the sweetest little thing. New Year. Not sure how that happened. January 2, 2017. Seems I blinked and it was Christmas and now? Plus there’s the book “reviews” I like to dole out. This year I want to be a bette...
