Weighing in at 9lbs and 22.5 inches long, we welcomed our sweet Emmett at 3:15am on March 7 after a QUICK and nearly painless labor. In fact, daddy had the honor of delivering Emmett because he came SO quick that the midwife didn't even make it! Mommy, daddy and big sister Eliana are so in love! He is absolutely precious! Hoping you are adjusting to life with two and all is well!

Caitlin (aka our little escape artist) was not staying put in her crib; so before we ended up in the ER we decided we should just go ahead and make the plunge. a "big girl" bed! Daddy and Caitlin setting up the bed! A doughnut as big as my face! Get candy, get candy, get candy. I mean, Happy Halloween. Let the pumpkin carving begin! Caitlin "Squirt" caught right on.

Where have the years gone? He was so excited and ready! In fact, at 6:45 am the first morning he said "I'm so excited for kindergarten I can't even sleep! Needless to say, we had plenty of time to enjoy breakfast, get dressed and play that morning! He went right into class, barely a bye to Caitlin and I (and no hugs!

Caitlin also started school last week! She was a little nervous morning of, but by "drop off" she was super excited! She thinks she's pretty cool now that she's in preschool (at Connor's old school! Connor started kindergarten last week! Where have the years gone? He was so excited and ready! And he was off! BUT, she got a BIG after school hug!

November 27, 2012. Last Day of Ballet :(. Since Grace is starting Mother's Morning Out in a few weeks, I won't be signing her up for ballet and gymnastics again until the summer. She was so sad to say goodbye to Ms. Peri and her "kids" as she calls her ballet friends. Dancing with Abby the Bear. Digging for gold during a break.
