It's an animated look at some of my favorite proteins, including those important for cell motility and structure. There's also a sequence on protein translation. Transport to the cell membrane! My intention is to create a sense of natural movement and energy in a subtle, elusive visual field. I have always been inspired by the raw, biomorphic forms found in nature- the movement of water, and the warm, earthy tones of sand and soil. My work suggests everything from broad landscapes, streams and rivers, to geological maps and even human biology.
