We Keep What We Value, Pt. 2. October 24, 2015. There are many things that I believe have value. I came to this conclusion when I looked around my house the other day and actually. All of the stuff I am keeping. Why do I believe all of this stuff has value? Actually most of what I see has no true value, and probably little to no monetary value either. So why am I keeping it? Fear of not having it? So the next time you give someone something, take a moment to realize the possibilities of that gesture....

http://fashionschoolflunky.blogspot.com/2009/03/sisz-fashion-show-at-hotel-v.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Sisz fashion show at Hotel V. This is a little late in posting because I had to wait for the photos to be sent, but in the beginning of March there was a collaboration evening at Hotel V. Which featured a DJ, a painting exhibition, and a fashion show of the current line from Sisz. Sisz is a store on the Ferdinand Bolstraat that carries a few gorgeous brands of women's wear found in few- if any- other places in the Netherlands, such as Baum und Pferdgarten. We Keep What We Value. October 4, 2015. I took up the reserved space next to my guru. We were about to begin our meditation. As I closed my eyes I felt the tip of his bony finger poking into my shoulder. I turned my head to look at him while he pointed the same finger toward the ceiling and said, “We hold on to the things we value,” he smiled. “Let’s meditate on that.”. 8220;So, how was your meditation,” he asked? 8220;Did you consider the truth: We hold on to the things we value? September 23, 2015. The struggle is in the mind. The struggle between ego and spirit has been a debate since the beginning of time. This past year I’ve been in the middle of such a struggle…or so i thought. When I approached my guru with this struggle he said,. Darkness vanishes; it ceases to exist. Hence, spirit cannot communicate with something that does not exist in its presence.” The guru fell silent and it was clear that he had returned to his meditation. 8220;So, what should I do,” I ask? I tried t...

Fear Condemns, Love Forgives. October 3, 2015. He asked me sit down across from him and said, “I want to talk to you about your ego.” He looked at me sternly. I was sure that my eyes were as large as fried eggs. A litany of thoughts dribbled across my mind as I wondered what I had done to make him say that. 8220;My…My ego,” I stammered? Only nothing. Let’s meditate and then we talk again. i will explain.”. 8220;Great,” I grimaced with a well rehearsed fake smile plastered across my face. As I leave the m...

The Question of Action: Be the Monkey. January 21, 2015. Fredrick Wilcox is quoted to have said, “Progress always involves risk; you can’t steal second base and keep your foot on first.” My good friend Marlon Groenhart. That things will remain the same for all time. It is true suffering to. Things to remain the same. I like to be a part of the flow. I try to love with an open hand and open heart. Fighting against organic change is futile and exhausting. Nothing is frozen in time. Not ...Action is about t...
