Friday, January 31, 2014. American Thanksgiving and UAE National Day. I can't make this stuff up! The kids were excited to wear their UAE colors! Some friends graciously volunteered to host Thanksgiving in their villa this year so we had lots of space for the 25 or so of us to spread out. Look at all that food! The kids had their own private seating. On National Day we headed with some friends to the airport for the Aerobatic Show held over 4 days here in Al Ain. It was awesome! And a school bus rocket!

Monday, November 5, 2012. Culture Shock is REAL. We're approaching the 3 month mark of living in a new country and I feel like I've recently turned a corner.a good one. So, I'm glad to be moving on to the next phase (hopefully) where I'm less stressed, anxiety-ridden, and basically grumpy (lol.) Inshallah! 1st tooth lost in the UAE! Saturday, October 27, 2012. We are currently enjoying a four day weekend of rest, relaxation, and much needed FUN!
