Sunday, July 02, 2006. 12 Days and Counting! April 30; from MySpace MORE blog). Shameless music placement on my site, I know, but it's got me in the mood for my Royal Caribbean days! In 11 days I will be nearly on the road to Baltimore, officially on vacation, and in 12 I will be ON the ship. YES! It's "Lust for Life" on the open seas, to be sure. No calls, no e-mails, no distractions toward feeling the best I can possibly feel - sun and fun, rest and relaxation, jogging on the deck (how cool is that?

Thea Turnip: July 2010
http://theaturnip.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 18, 2010. I am still here. I haven't fallen off a cliff. I just have been doing other things and not using the main computer or my camera. I have gotten a bit of spinning done. I tried to work on the Alpaca from a few years ago (from the alpaca named Sienna), but 2 of the 3 balls were very matted. I gave up and plied most of what I had, ending up with about 350 yds. A while back I went to Maryland Sheep and Wool festival. This year I took a class on a knitted Gansey. View my complete profile.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Pattern: Ballet from Toe-Up 2-at-a-Time Socks. I then had to start another pair of socks. I decided doing 2 at a time was too hard to use as travel knitting, so I followed the same book, but I am doing only one at a time. This also allows me to use the dpns instead of magic loop. Thea Turnip: June 2011
http://theaturnip.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 05, 2011. I have almost cleaned off my needles. There is still a list of things to do, but they haven't been cast-on yet. First here is the group of us in the tutus from the last post. We performed well with no major issues or injuries and had fun, so that passes all of my criteria. It was a lot of work for 2 minutes of dance, but well worth it. I also finished up the afghan for Warm-up America. Last year's was very ugly, so I made this one all myself instead of sewing up mis. Teddy Bear (61...

A quiet knitting retreat. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. I was pleased today to find a pattern I had made on Ravelry. It's pretty cool to see when other people make a pattern that you have written out, and have success with it too! I have been busy making several things. Here are a few of them:. I am absolutely loving Ravelry and the wealth of patterns! Posted by Kish @ 4:42 PM. Are you comming to the Dublin Irish Fest? Ohio, United States. View my complete profile. Make your own badge here. A quiet knitting retreat. Friday, September 08, 2006. On My Feet Again. So I am back home and on my feet! I am still going to therapy 3 times a week, and have not been allowed to start back to work yet. However I have managed to do some decorating since being home and creating this cute little pumpkin. I also received a kitchen table compliments of BF's Granny. I have wanted a table for so long! Here it is all decked out. I also did the dining room, I am feeling quite festive :). Kish's Korner: May 2006
http://kishskorner.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
A quiet knitting retreat. Sunday, May 28, 2006. I had another competition today with the Irish Girls and despite our general feeling of "aloofness" or "lack of groove" we managed to earn 12 medals between the 4 of us and our 4 dances. My Knitting Guru Friend. Received a 1st, 2nd and 3rd! Posted by Kish @ 7:50 PM. Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Here is my latest creation. I used Southwest Trading Company's "Oasis" in the color Rose. It only took two skeins, which is good because it is pricey stuff! I have been ...

Kish's Korner: Finally, Something Finished!
http://kishskorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/finally-something-finished.html
A quiet knitting retreat. Wednesday, June 04, 2008. Finally, Something Finished! Well I finally got something finished! I did the Summer Fun Tote pattern from the Creative Knitting magazine (May 2008). I love how it turned out. I also like the fact that I could use up stash yarn and pastic bags. I am now working on the larger size bag from the same pattern. Posted by Kish @ 8:28 PM. Wait, did you say/mean plastic bags? Did the pattern use plastic bags? And 2 sorry for the confusion/babbling.
