To record free TV from the antenna and store my Movie and TV Show collection. To play the video files on the TV, I joined the crowd of teenage girls and ordered a $35 Raspberry Pi (RPi) when first released and received it in mid-June 2012. Raspbmc software. I was eyeing the Ouya. XBMC is shown to be a snappy interface.

Sunday, November 27, 2011. First Sunday of Advent. The kids are getting things that I think they'll love, rather than just trying to fill the space under the tree. I'm also really excited about Tony's gifts.but I'm not telling! After lunch, we went to Mount St. Francis for a Secular Franciscan meeting. It fell right during naptime, and of course Sophie fell asleep on the way home. In an unusual twist, she actually stayed asleep when we carried her in. It must have been a long weekend! Thursday, November 1, 2012. I've already posted a ton of pictures of the kids in Halloween costumes between the zoo and Great Wolf Lodge, but I couldn't let Halloween go by without a couple more. I had to teach class Wednesday evening, but I was home right before trick or treat time. The boys had waited for me to carve the jack-o-lantern. Okay, who am I kidding? Sophie has been determined since December that she was going to make a car and it would be a pig. That's all she's said for several months. "When will we paint my piggy car? Sunday, January 29, 2012. Sophie's birthday and other odds and ends. Today started Biddy Ball at St. Anthony. Thankfully, the first and second grade play together so we have respite, at least for one season. Andrew, Aidan, and Hunter are all on the same team. Andrew was excited that they started with a jump ball. And, being the Shaq of the second grade, he got to jump for it. Aidan was just excited to find that his wrist band matched his buddy's on the other team, meaning they got to guard each other.

Thank goodness I have friends who are! A week or so before Halloween, I got a message out of the blue. The mother of one of my oldest and dearest friends is getting a photgraphy degree. Debe was not only my friend Kasie's mom, she was also my Brownie and Girl Scout troop leader and pom pon squad coach. We go way back!
