Suzanne, my adoption friend in CA, has emailed that she too is going to fly in for my adoption garage sale! I met Suzanne through our adoption research on-line, she too is looking to adopt near Kazakhstan, actually her heart has lead her to Kyrgyzstan, a small country bordering Kaz. It is official, my Dossier has been apostilled and it is now off to my Agency in Texas. :) Yahoooooo! Good news, I am me and my Notaries were all Notaries! One original pile of Dossier docs for my agency, one copied pile for my agency and a 3rd tree (oops sorry, pile) for me! Hurry up and wait now! This past weekend, we were up at the cabin cleaning out the last of the furniture, sigh!

December 16th is Independence day of Kazakhstan. December 20th is Muslim Holiday Ait(the end of Holly month Ramadan). Days off will also be December 31 to January 7. January 1st is a New Year day. January 7th is Russian Christmas. What does this mean to me? Really, I am not a whiner usually, but this is a bit sucky! Tuesday, November 27, 2007.

The Story of My Daughter. No I didn't give you the gift of life, but life gave me the gift of you! Saturday, June 16, 2007. Off to the USCIS. Yesterday evening my Home Study Agency sent off my finalized Home Study to the USCIS, we are officially moving forward again. I am told that they tell you to expect 60-90 days before the USCIS sends out the approval to adopt an orphan (I-171H); however, my agency said that it was truly running about 45 days. Ugh! S Blog has inspired me to look for great baby buys!
