Relay For Life of the University of Oregon. Monthly Archives: April 2011. April 24, 2011. Last year our participants raised $10,000 in April alone. This year, we challenged them to do it again. And on April 20th, with ten days to spare, they not only met the goal, but passed it. Sites are updated by a handful of committee members several times a day. Because we couldn’t get our hands on roughly 20 walkie-talkies, my Co-Chair and I opted for a similar and more feasible option. We encouraged each committee member with an iPhone or an Android to download HeyTell, which is a free mobile application that acts like a walkie-talkie.
