A Cup of Joanne. Homemade Gouda and Ham-stuffed Chicken Breasts. I subscribe to tons of food and cooking blogs on my Google reader, and came across this. Recipe a while back. Curious to what it would taste like, I saved it in my Firefox “food” folder, so when it came time to decide what to cook this weekend, I browsed the folder and decided to try this. Step one: Wrap the chicken in saran wrap, and pound the chicken flat with the bottom of a pan. Cut chicken breasts into smaller portions if desired, ...

A Cup of Joanne. Hong Kong Restaurant Week: Goccia. Oops, I’ve slacked and haven’t updated with my last two restaurant week trials! 4th up was Goccia. Hadn’t been to this one either, but had heard good things about it. Bread basket – impressive and always the mark of a good restaurant! Appetizer: Pink peppered tuna served on a bed of rocket salad and cherry tomato – really good and the tuna was seared perfectly! Appetizer: Green peas soup with burrata cheese and crispy pancetta – good! Create a free webs...

A Cup of Joanne. Hong Kong Restaurant Week: JAR (Just A Restaurant). I signed up for 5 restaurants for Hong Kong’s restaurant week. A little overzealous yes, and it was really quite exhausting eating so much at every meal. Let’s just say I worked especially hard at the gym this past week.I have major first world problems! Appetizer: Pickled Tiger Prawn, Avocado and Quinoa Salad. My main: Pan-fried barramundi with Preserved Lemon and Tomato Salsa. Main: Chicken Leg Confit with Chorizo and New Potatoes.

The Lizard Post: A Real Job
http://thelizardpost.blogspot.com/2012/06/real-job.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. Today was a great Monday. Because it was the first day of my new job! After two months of job searching and some interviews, admittedly not a lot, I finally got hired by Berlitz Languages to work in their Palo Alto Office as their Kids program coordinator/business development rep. So, I will work on coordinating and selling Berlitz Language programs tailored for kids in the entire Bay Area, but focuses on Palo Alto for the time being. Right up my alley. Monday, July 2, 2012. Our first Sprint Triathlon! Somehow, my brother roped my father and I into doing a sprint Tri. In Denver. In the summer. He probably lured us in with promises of being able to see my nephew (who will be three in Aug. SO CUTE). Or maybe the decided factor was that the swimming was going to be in a pool, instead of a freezing open water venue. When your cactus is dry, you know its bad. So it wouldn't be so hard for him. My dad and I vowed that we would do another one, maybe doing all ...
The Lizard Post: Need a spare part?
http://thelizardpost.blogspot.com/2012/05/need-spare-part.html
Monday, May 28, 2012. Need a spare part? This weekend being memorial day, we took a trip up north to see some wine country. We went to visit friends of my parents, and also to check out a possible site for a wedding. On the way up we stopped in the town of Winchester to go check out a place called a Pick n Pull. In the end, we didn't buy anything because the line was too long and we learned that there are Pick 'n Pulls all across California! May 30, 2012 at 6:17 AM. Didnt know these things existed.

A Cup Of Jo
Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Luckily I had so much to do today for work which kept my mind busy. I never make appointments in the afternoon, simply because I hate waiting all day but I wanted the IM to be there so we made it for 3:15. The appointment finally came around, I had picked up my mom to take her with me and met the IM at the office. Thursday, February 12, 2015. 2 blood draws, an ultrasound appointment and take a guess. I went back again this past Monday February 9th and they wanted the number ...

A cup of joan. April 21, 2015. This is also the place where I met my awesome friend Kathleen, an all-around beauty who also happens to be a very talented fashionista and blogger. You may or not know her already from Inspirafashion. Kathleen’s style is girly, minimal, and edgy – a chic and stylish combo. I got her into vegan leather and the awareness of it, so we decided to individually style this vegan moto jacket, resulting in this collaboration. So what are you waiting for? Go check her out! H&M Boots ...
A Cup of Jo
A Cup of Jo. Friday, April 17, 2009. 3 month anniversary and some eggs to go along with it. Today has been a shitty day already. I woke up an hour late for school and didn't get to shower. By the time I got to school, my shirt was soaked in sweat because it's really hot outside. My hair looked really gross (as if it could look worse already) and was so greasy haha But that brings me to one of the topics of today's post. My HAIR! Uhh it is total sex in my mouth! 2 glasses full of water. Haha I couldn't re...

Remember that whole thing about me starting a blog and never keeping up with it? Well, fear not, I have returned for a post.
