We were not sure how Annabel would take to the trick-or-treating because she's a little weary of strange things and people right now, but I guess I underestimated the power of free candy! Sunday, October 17, 2010. It has been another incredible fall weekend in Indiana, and we have definitely been enjoying it! This weekend Nate went out to Death Valley, CA to ride in a 100 mile ride for juvenile diabetes research (riding 90 miles of it in 105 degree heat - not bad for someone who's only been in training for about 3 months! It's a lot of fun crammed into one weekend, but we've enjoyed it! Favorite part of the pumpkin patch? The big hay mound for sure! Checking out the prospects with Grandma.

Sunday, May 31, 2009. My new favorite cook book is the Cooking Light Super Fast Suppers cookbook. I'm sure you will soon come to find a lot of recipes from this cookbook on my blog, as everything is fast, healthy, and looks delicious. The first recipe I tried came out great, and will be a staple for summer time eating in our house. 5 cups baked tortilla chips (broken in to bite-sized pizza). 1/2 cup shredded low fat cheddar cheese. 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained. 1 large lime, quartered.
