Wednesday, June 17, 2009. I spent last Saturday afternoon here. Picking dandelions. Our ward was having a service project helping out the park services pick weeds. The weeds turned out to be yellow dandelions covering a HUGE grass area at Chrissy Fields. Turns out they are an invasive species. Who knew? On Friday night, two of my favorite people were in town. After a delicious Italian meal at Tomatino's, we broke out the games, and had quite an enjoyable evening. I love these girls!

Tuesday, August 17, 2010. A couple weekends ago I completed my first half marathon. Just a few months ago I never would have been able to picture myself being able to run 13.1 miles. I could hardly even run a mile. But I did it! It was a really amazing experience. I loved running though the streets of San Francisco in the overcast, cool weather with thousands of other runners. Although I could hardly walk for the two days after the race, I'm already looking forward to running it again next year!

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. From now on, I'm going to try my hardest just to eat. Meat Trust me, once you see this movie, you will too. I took a class on the food supply chain and learned all about how food goes from farm to fork. AND OF COURSE I WAS ASSIGNED BEEF! I am back to my cow loving days and boycotting beef!

Friday, April 16, 2010. This gem of a bakery. Last weekend in Yountville (Napa Valley). Owned by the same chef as French Laundry. Thomas Keller is a genius. Chocolate macarons and TKO cookies were to die for. I've started playing Words with Friends (scrabble type game) on my ipod touch. Highly addicting. I've also discovered Pandora online radio. Makes the work day much more enjoyable. Moving is not a very fun process. Thursday, April 1, 2010. Look for the good in others. Speak only words of kindness.

Sunday, May 31, 2009. Day One and Two in London:. First stop was Regent's Street, which is the most popular shopping street in London. We walked around a bit, then made our way to Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. By then we were all starving, and were in search of some authentic London food. Monday, August 23, 2010. Liberty of London made them for Target. They started selling some a few months ago, but sold out crazy fast. Thursday, April 1, 2010. I've been waiting for this for awhile and it's actually been a desire of mine, not actually sure if it would happen or not. I enjoy running now! I never undstood how people could enjoy it and just thought they were crazy. I went for a 3.5 mile run a couple days ago and actually kind of loved it. Who would've thought!
