http://adaunitedway.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant. Monday, April 1, 2013. Thinking back over the past 10 years. I have thought a lot today about what I should say in this first post in over a year. Today is the 10 year anniversary of my first full day of my current position as Executive Director of Ada Regional United Way. If you are reading this and you also recieve our ARUW e-newsletter you know possibly a little of what I am going to say. Today, I simply want to focus on that first day. Follow on Face Book.

Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Life happens.and then we go on living! Times like this make us (me) stop and realize that life happens no matter if we are ready or not. Many personal things have changed in my life. I have spent much more time with my parents over the past few months. I have let go of what I should have let go along time ago. I have actually smiled more in the past three months that in the past three years. But we have to be able to accept life.

Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant: January 2010
http://adaunitedway.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Today we discuss 2-1-1 of Southeastern Oklahoma. Okay, this one I really know about because Ada Regional United Way wrote the RFP (grant) that made this program (now an agency) happen. Well, now 2-1-1 of Southeastern Oklahoma is a separate 501 c 3 non-profit organization as of last June. I hope you see how this works. If you know of someone needing assistance, please have them call 2-1-1. The overall intent was to keep an individual...

Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. The Best question I was ever asked? I have the opportunity with my job to visit with the entire community. One of my favorite interactions is with High School students as they still have the opinion that they can ask anything. Sometimes I can be surprised with what comes out of the "mouth of babes". As my children are well past High School, I am allowed to call them "babes". To me they appear to be very young. If you had the oppor...

Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant: How much can one dollar really make?
http://adaunitedway.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-much-can-one-dollar-really-make.html
Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant. Saturday, October 22, 2011. How much can one dollar really make? You would be surprised! One dollar by itself is probably not going to be able to make much of an impact, but 100 ($1 bills) can begin to make a difference. Dollars are used locally to provide services. Beginning with our youngest community members up to our oldest, the ARUW member agencies make a difference! Ada Homeless Services provides up to a three night stay in a local motel or utility assist...

Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant: October 2011
http://adaunitedway.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Ada Regional United Way by Latricia Bryant. Monday, October 31, 2011. November will focus on how ARUW funded agencies partner with one another. In the next days and most likely weeks, I will be highlighting how the agencies funded by Ada Regional United Way combine their resources to work together in solving the needs of our local community. You may be surprised in how resourceful agencies operating on limited funding become when they are attempting to meet immediate needs of our community members. I hav...
