Sunday, October 30, 2011. Jacob has been waiting over a year to have a LASER TAG birthday party. So, we borrowed my father-in-law's 15 passenger van and carted 12 boys to the party . . . in an October snow storm! It was tons of fun, so much fun that I forgot to take pictures of them in their laser tag gear. Here are a few pictures from the festivities. I had to include this picture because it's just too funny! I told him he looks like a gangster, but he doesn't care, it's his favorite hat! He is so funny!

Friday, October 15, 2010. After a year and a half the braces are off! I can't tell you how nice it feels- not just the teeth, but also to feel like an adult again instead of a teenager! I'm not sure I would have done it knowing now what it entailed- -oral surgery for . . . tooth extraction, implant placement, and metal anchor plate drilled into my bone and then taken out! Tuesday, November 1, 2011. We had a blast this Halloween going trick-or-treating with neighborhood kids. All the kids piled in the back of a pickup truck and a tractor pulled trailer and grooved to the music that was blasting. It was great fun! My boys were dressed as Air Force pilots (thank you Ben and Luella for the awesome outfits! But apparently they felt the need to spice up the costumes with some ghoulish teeth! Aaron was in heaven at the end of the night when he got to drive the tractor!

Saturday, July 17, 2010. After some damage from an off-road ride and nearly a year of being "under construction" Matt's off-road machine is finally done- -again. I thought I'd post some pics of his masterpiece! Four boys and a Jeep. Can you tell they LOVE it? I thought this was too funny! It's on the hub of the tire). I think I'll need a small step ladder to get in! So, in early May 30 newly hatched turkey chicks arrived at our house. Why 30? I have no idea! I'll keep you posted on how this all turns out!

Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Back Tracking- -October Girl's Getaway. Well, I have been a horrible blogger the last 5 or 6 months and now I am determined to catch up and keep up! In early October I got away with some friends of mine from church for a Rhode Island girls get-a-way. At the time we were all serving in the Young Women's Presidency (things got changed recently and now instead of being the YW Secretary I am the YW President! It was so beautiful.
