Wednesday, April 21, 2010. A Trip to the Zoo. We ventured out to the Birmingham Zoo last Saturday. it was Farley's first time and she loved it (other than the allergic reaction to her sunscreen). Here's some pics of the day. Getting in prime "animal viewing position"- Farley's favorite way to travel. The monkey house was her favorite- must have reminded her of Monty. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Some additional 9 month stuff. We had Farley's 9-month pics made this weekend. It wasn't our most successful shoot to date, since she had just woken up from her nap. Most shots we ruled out because she looked half drunk! However, despite this shortcoming, I was somehow able to spend the most I have so far on her milestone shots! I wonder about myself sometimes.) Monday, May 10, 2010. She loves wearing her Mama's sunglasses (I moved to cheapies recently after a disturbing Farley/RayBan/asphalt incident). I celebrated my first Mother's Day yesterday and now there's been such a high standard set, I don't know if it can ever be topped! I woke up to presents (a big surprise- go Jason and Farley! On the kitchen table. They were sweet and thoughtful and perfect. those two really did a great job! We had such a wonderful day together! I will pretend I didn't hear that!

Monday, December 21, 2009. Here's Farley and her dad last Monday at her 6 month checkup. She was 16 lbs 4 oz and the 55th percentile. My growing girl! She got all her shots, including swine flu vaccine. Also, I think our doc cursed us! He asked how she was sleeping and we bragged about her 10 hour nights.
