Bali” to their family deity Durga. You can see a sculpture of goddess Durga. With a beheaded animal in front of her. It appears that Mrs Indira Gandhi renamed it as Mamallapuram. It was the second biggest city and the biggest port of the Pallavas. And you can find local guides speaking French here. Ruled the South of Tamil Nadu.

This time, when I had to chair a session on difficult cataract surgeries at the State Conference at Udupi in Oct 2010, I did not want to let go the opportunity.
