Head for the hills. The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2,650 mile long trail that runs from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington. My husband (Barking Spider) and I (Homestretch) started our thru-hike on April 22. Spider had to leave the trail at Bishop Pass with a stress fracture in his foot. I continued on toward Canada.
