2 years Past Foreclosure | Adventures in Default's Blog
https://adventuresindefault.wordpress.com/2012/08/09/2-years-past-foreclosure
Adventures in Default's Blog. One couple's experience in walking away from their mortgage. 2 years Past Foreclosure. Perhaps some may be curious as to how we’re doing almost 2 years since we walked away. I was just telling my young adult son that sometimes it can take years to understand the effects of a decision. A week later, our son came home with us temporarilly until he can recover and get back to work. What does this have to do with our decision to walk away? Neither does anyone else.) Because ...

Adventures in Default's Blog. One couple's experience in walking away from their mortgage. Purchasing a Home After Foreclosure. So many changes have happened quickly since my last post. Life is like that, sometimes we wait and wait for something to happen, then other times, preparation meets opportunity, and we jet ahead. I am writing to you now from our newly purchased home that we were handed the keys to just 2 years and 3 months after our foreclosure. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Thank you,...

Adventures in Default's Blog. One couple's experience in walking away from their mortgage. Boomerang or Rebound Buyers. Couple shows there’s life after foreclosure. We did the story to help others. Maybe someone will see what we did and realize they can do the same. Especially veterans. I’m still planning my post on VA Loans and will be interviewing with Chis Birk tomorrow, the author of The Book on VA Loans. Anything is possible, this is still America! Why Would Banks Rather Foreclose Than Renegotiate? | Adventures in Default's Blog
https://adventuresindefault.wordpress.com/2011/09/06/why-would-banks-rather-foreclose-than-renegotiate
Adventures in Default's Blog. One couple's experience in walking away from their mortgage. Why Would Banks Rather Foreclose Than Renegotiate? Why are banks so willing to foreclose? This is the 64 trillion dollar question! Notice I had to spell that out, I’m not sure I know how to write numbers that big or that you know how to read them! Still, isn’t some money better than no money? Now remind me, what was all that money given to banks to help troubled homeowners for? I suggest you watch the movie yoursel...

Adventures in Default's Blog. One couple's experience in walking away from their mortgage. You may be wondering where I have been the last several months. After the CBS interview, there was a lot of attention on the subject of foreclosure and recovery. I thought I had said all there was to say in my story, then realized there was more as people are still making these decisions, and navigating the process of recovery is another story in itself. No major purchases this year, buying the house was enough....

Monday, April 20, 2015. Shades of Spring Open House Party . I'm happy to be joining several of my blogging friends today for our "Shades of Spring" open house! And, as my "shade of Spring," I'm sharing our little sunroom. Set right off of the kitchen, this cozy spot has seen its fair share of decorating in the 10 months we've lived here . Now that I had my staple pieces placed, it was time to add a bit of Spring! Wine corks always make a fun "filler" . How about a faux grape? And, there it is . our l...

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. St Patty's Day Project Part 2. St Patty's Day 4 Leaf Clover Wreath:. Cardboard- big enough for the letter size you would like and thick enough to not be wobbly. Felt square(s)- I had to use two as my letter was slightly bigger than one. About 30 little shamrocks/ four leaf clovers from the previous post. The first step is to figure out how big you want your letter, draw it on to the cardboard and cut it out. I didn't take pictures of this step- oops! Posted by J. Baxter. 65279...

Squash and eggplant and beets, oh my! As the leaves turn from green to gold to amber and the nights become crisper and longer, i long for food that is hearty and comforting. We all have our favourites. i have several dozen myself, given a variety of moods, but nothing warms me down to my toes like a bowl of roasted veg, hot from the oven: crisp and caramelized, giving way to a soft, steaming centre and topped with sweet, creamy goat cheese. Can you smell it? Extra virgin olive oil. I have also used pumpk...

Adventures in Demland – I lift my eyes up to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth!
I lift my eyes up to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth! December 28, 2015. Babies, babies, babies. The last couple weeks have brought three new babies into the Dem tribe. The ladies on our team were able to be there to help and learn more about how things are done here. So amazing to witness a new little life coming into the world! Our partners, Jared and Mel Currie accompanied the woman and her husband to the nearest hospital and the ...
