Adventureye Photography Trekking for Charity

Since 2007 Marie has been trekking and climbing to raise money for the Breast Cancer Fund whose mission is to identify and advocate for elimination of the environmental and other preventable causes of the disease. A portion of the profits from the sale of her work goes to the Breast Cancer Fund. Marie has raised over $75,000.00. 2007 Mt. Shasta in California. 2008 Mt. Chomolhari base camp in Bhutan. 2009 Tour du Mt. Blanc in the Alps, and ascent of Mt. Blanc. 2011 Kala Patar in Nepal and Everest Base Camp.

Marie’s love of photography began in her early 20’s when she won a ribbon in a San Francisco Bay Area photo competition using her Nikon FE film camera. She enjoyed shooting the urban landscape around the Bay where she grew up.
