A Family Learns Esperanto: September 2009
http://esperantofamily.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
A Family Learns Esperanto. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Today we have started our first lesson for learning Esperanto. After breakfast we looked at the things we had on the table and identified some words to learn:. Tablo, kafo, akvo, lakto, taso, seĝo, telero, knabo, pano. Estas, trinkas, manĝas. We then build some easy sentences and make statements about things:. La knabo trinkas lakton. Then we asked each other questions:. Ĉu vi trinkas kafon? Ne, mi ne trinkas kafon. Mi trinkas akvon. A Family Learns Esperanto: A week gone by ...
http://esperantofamily.blogspot.com/2009/10/week-gone-by.html
A Family Learns Esperanto. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. A week gone by . We didn't learn alot of new things but practiced and deepened the understanding of words and concepts we learned so far. Aurin counted from unu to naŭ-dek-naŭ to cent. Aurin now uses the -n, -j and -jn forms for direct objects correctly in almost all cases! This may not sound like much, but Esperanto now is on the forefront of our daily life. Everything we do or use we ask "What's the word for this in Esperanto? A week gone by .

A Family Learns Esperanto: November 2009
http://esperantofamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
A Family Learns Esperanto. Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Yesterday we chose new names for us, Esperanto names as seems to be the custom for Esperantists. I think the reason why that is sometimes necessary is because to adjust the spelling so that anyone who speaks Esperanto can instantly pronounce the name without any cultural reference. This is easy to pronounce and ends in an o like any regular Esperanto noun. Our youngest son Robin got a cute new name to get the o ending: Ribo. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
