"That's so random.": Green Rant
http://myrandomthoughts-amy.blogspot.com/2010/01/green-rant.html
That's so random.". My random thoughts on life, family, and going green. Monday, January 11, 2010. I work with an individual that goes out to their vehicle every day for lunch. Rain, shine, hot, cold, doesn't matter. And while I can relate to wanting to get away from your desk for an hour each day, I do have a problem with running your vehicle for an extra hour. How many extra pounds of carbon dioxide are going up into our atmosphere at this very moment? January 16, 2010 at 7:38 PM. My 2010 Reading List.

"That's so random.": "Was that my mom?"
http://myrandomthoughts-amy.blogspot.com/2010/02/was-that-my-mom.html
That's so random.". My random thoughts on life, family, and going green. Friday, February 12, 2010. Was that my mom? OK, so sometimes I turn into that crazy soccer mom. But only on occassion. Well, I had just an occassion last week. And when the call was made, she said "It's about time." The smart-ass kid on the other team (the pusher) looks up at us, shrugs, and says "Hey, that's soccer." And I said "Clearly, it's not since he called you on it.". And what do I do? Now, that's soccer! Well, now you know.

"That's so random.": Saying "Good-bye"
http://myrandomthoughts-amy.blogspot.com/2009/12/saying-good-bye.html
That's so random.". My random thoughts on life, family, and going green. Monday, December 21, 2009. It doesn't seem like a difficult thing to do, but does anyone say "good-bye" on the phone anymore? I do, but seem to be in the minorirty. I felt like she must have said "Happy Holidays" and proceeded to hang up without even waiting for a reponse from me. I'm sure that wasn't the case. Do you still say "good-bye" when ending a phone conversation, or am I being old-fashined? December 22, 2009 at 9:18 AM.

Bloggin' for Apples: Breakin' the law, breakin' the law.
http://blogginforapples-kerri.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-really-have-to-start-from-3-years-ago.html
Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Breakin' the law, breakin' the law. I really have to start from 3 years ago to give the full effect of the bizarre details of this story. In 2007-2008 I was really not in a very good place. Along with a numerous other issues, the company I planned on retiring from, announced it was moving to Tifton Georgia. Andrew was battling his own demons, and Ryleigh was a very difficult age for teenage girls. Uprooting them didn't seem fair. So, not even two weeks after it lapsed, I was pull...

Bloggin' for Apples: November 2011
http://blogginforapples-kerri.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 7, 2011. Dear Danville. Really? Dear Danville, Vermilion County, Townships, State of Illinois,. Are you really freaking kidding me right now? I have single handedly solved the unemployment issues in Danville. People here in D-Vegas don't work, because they can't get to their jobs. Of course I've been lectured about how different road construction projects are governed by different "departments". But tell me this, Do these "departments" not communicate with each other? Oh joy. Lets ma...

Bloggin' for Apples: February 2013
http://blogginforapples-kerri.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 2, 2013. Congratulations. It's an Aunt. Before I start, I have to say this. Pete Rollins (we called him Paw Paw) was my grandpa. He was the only grandpa on my father's side that I knew. He was my dad's dad. He did all of the things that dads and grandpa's do. My dad tells stories of the memories he has being the son of Pete Rollins. I will not discredit Paw Paw. He was a good man. Noonie had divorced Leo when my dad was only and infant and remarried Pete Rollins. The search was "Italia...

Thursday, September 27, 2012. I have a question. Where can I get me some of that? Five days a week, I catch three seconds of about ten different songs that sneak into my fabulous state of REM sleep, as the crushing blows become increasingly violent against the snooze button on my alarm clock. My alarm clock that is set 27 minutes fast in a hollow effort to trick my mind into thinking it is later than it is. Until finally I surrender, and with my eyes still closed, head for the shower. And at those places...
