Sunday, May 31, 2015. Having enjoyed a good harvest of Colocassia root aka arbi, I tried this simple preparation. A favourite in many Indian households. Kids love eating this as a side or even as a snack. 1/2 tsp chilli powder. 1/4 tsp chaat masala (optional). Wash the arbi and cut into half. Pressure cook till one whistle. Check if the arbi is soft. Friday, June 12, 2015. Last summer I learnt to cut and clean jackfruit. Ever since I ve been enjoying gorging on organic farm fresh jackfruit. The best part about enjoying a jackfruit is that it does not end with the fruits. There are many ways to cook and eat the seeds as well. Here's one preparation that is easy and enjoyable. 500 gms Jackfruit seeds. 1 tbs Grated coconut (optional). Chilli powder (according to your spice levels). Cut the seeds into halves and pressure cook. A warm welcome to you!

Small cubes of cheddar. 1/4 tsp ground pepper. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion. Add the vegetables except potatoes and sauté. Leave to cool. Peel and mash potatoes. Mix all ingredients together except cheese. Roll into balls, poke a hole in the centre, insert the cheese, cover well. Coat with bread crumbs or rice flour. Links to this post.
