Austin was very fortunate to host the 2011 North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) this past weekend. While certainly an event for the true geeks at heart, I was more struck with the opportunity to use bikes as mediums for art as I was the technical expertise involved. The other thing that really struck me was that color is back.

I used the biscuit ratio from Michael Ruhlman's book "Ratio". To come up with my recipe. I highly suggest this book, as it teaches you to make your own recipes and not rely on others! I decided to do this recipe by hand. It's relaxing for some reason and sometimes it's fun to get your hands dirty! Ok, I won't make you wait any longer! 2 tsp Baking powder.
