Research at the chair is concerned with the design and implementation of intelligent systems. In this process, various AI methods are applied in areas such as knowledge represenation or planning. More specifically, research (and teaching) currently focusses on Human Computer Interaction (HCI), and on intelligent systems that help to improve the interaction between a human user and a computer. Especially mobile applications and devices pose some interesting new challenges in this field.
