http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. First and most important . My hubby is home. He's still not feeling good. Still having the same symptoms, just not nearly as bad as before. This is a great puzzle over here.He did drive today and was out for a bit. It may take a while, but a little better every day is a fabulous thing. On Saturday while he was taking one of his many naps, this came to live with us. I've been trying a few different things lately. I tried felting slippers out of wool roving and they promptly w...

Living the Alaska Dream: November 2011
http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. Special Thanks on this Thanksgiving weekend. I have pondered how to best share this story and feel that I must share it with you.It is quite a miracle and a great way to celebrate a Thanksgiving weekend. This story began a long time ago. In the past several weeks the family has been contacted by a gentlemen named Bob. He is no relation to the family at all, but was looking for his boyhood friend . who happened to be Jari's first cousin. Bob has the great fortune of ...I am quit...

Living the Alaska Dream: The melting of a mom's heart.
http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2012/03/melting-of-moms-heart.html
Friday, March 16, 2012. The melting of a mom's heart. There are some things that just melt a mom's heart. We carry our babies within us, loving them from the moment we know of their existence. We prepare for their arrival with eager anticipation. Then they enter our world and reshape our entire existence. From that moment on, they carry our heart with them in each footstep. In each heart ache. As a mom, we are certainly needed. In all of that we are needed. Perhaps they fly far away. Yet she still yearns...

http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2012/03/ten-in-day.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Ten in a Day. Whether these are done in order or you pick one out of a jar on a day when you and your camera are ready to connect for a while, Amber and I came up with a list of 10 things. Ten because we're starting in March and doing the last 10 months of the year. I am going to try and capture the ordinary on those days. You are welcome to join us! Oooh Love the pictures! March 13, 2012 at 12:42 PM. This is a good idea, and all your pics are great! I may have to join you!

Living the Alaska Dream: March 2012
http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. From Alaska to 430 Breezy Lane. Sometimes I know what I need to do. Then I ponder and wonder and think and think and think. I try to come up with a plan. Or in this case, a name. I started this blog shortly after we moved to Alaska and 6 months ago we left there and returned to Phoenix. So to have a blog that I'm still posting to that is entitled "Living the Alaska Dream" really is a bit outdated. Yes, we dreamed and did. Now we have different dreams filling our heads and hearts.

Living the Alaska Dream: August 2011
http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. It is sort of like being in vacation. I'm half way through my last week at work. Have a box and bag here and there to finish organizing and packing, but the complete chaos of the last week is over. It seriously feels like I am on vacation. The leaves are quickly changing on the trees, a sign that winter is around the corner. From the back deck here I listen to the neighing of the neighbor horses. Today is Anna's last day of work. I have two more left for myself. Closing was pl...

Living the Alaska Dream: The hoarder in me.
http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2012/03/hoarder-in-me.html
Thursday, March 15, 2012. The hoarder in me. She has a problem with more than tomato sauce cans. She also likes fabric. A few years ago (thank goodness I can honestly say it hasn't been much longer than that! I bought a bunch of these remnant pieces that come in books off of Ebay. That Ebay thing alone was quite a learning lesson. It was my first purchase using that mode of shopping and I hit that. Button before my brain registered the price of shipping. Just have to love, love, love a day like this one!

Living the Alaska Dream: After a Friday of laundry and housework ....
http://livingthealaskadream.blogspot.com/2012/03/after-friday-of-laundry-and-housework.html
Friday, March 9, 2012. After a Friday of laundry and housework . An evening respite at a fabulous restaurant with friends. For now a jaunt back to the ocean again. Mission Beach and Belmont Park are also family favorites. Not the beach itself. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Mission Beach. I am a fan of the roller coaster and eat treats at Belmont Park. And then on to Ocean Beach for a while . Tomorrow morning I am home and free. It's been a few weeks. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Perhaps we ar...
