http://knittingharvest.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
A place to share the fruits of our labor. Wednesday, September 2, 2009. I needed a somewhat neutral shawl to wear with a few sleeveless dresses. So I used the cape cod silky merino malabrigo. So here is my textured shawl in malabrigo. Silky merino (US 8) and all its tails. Posted by knitting harvest. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. knitting harvest: the Tiger kinda
http://knittingharvest.blogspot.com/2010/04/tiger-kinda.html
A place to share the fruits of our labor. Sunday, April 4, 2010. I was looking everywhere for a stuff tiger pattern. I found one on Etsy from Jellybum. But when I got it, I realized it was much smaller than I thought (more of a finger puppet size). So I did lots of ad libbing with the pattern. pretty much making it up as I went a long and using the original pattern and the patterns for the other stuff toys I've made as guides. Yarn: Knitpicks Swish DK in orange and coal and bare superwash wool DK. Bunny ...

knitting harvest: February 2010
http://knittingharvest.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
A place to share the fruits of our labor. Sunday, February 28, 2010. This was my first time working with self stripping yarn, matching up the pattern required wasting quite a bit of yarn, which was hard to do. I still need to find buttons for it, but otherwise it's one. I liked the little patch detail for the back. Patter:Devan (from Knitty) no changes. Yarn: 1 Skein each of Austermann Step and Heritage Sock Yarn Charcoal. Needle: 3.0mm double point (set of 4 so I didn't need a stitch holder). Chunky Cab...

knitting harvest: catching up
http://knittingharvest.blogspot.com/2014/04/catching-up.html
A place to share the fruits of our labor. Sunday, April 6, 2014. This was my attempt at making a giraffe. after I got tired of making too many elephants, I moved on (though elijah is still my go to baby gift). Pattern: Jellybum giraffe and elijah (March 2013). Modification: similar to the tiger i made, major modification to make it bigger. really only used the patter for the head and follow similar idea for the body as the Elijah pattern. This is basically how I make all my stuff animals now. Again, I li...

A place to share the fruits of our labor. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. I blocked the shawl this morning and it was dry by this afternoon. Now I just need to package it up and send it off to grandma. I hope she knows someone is thinking about her when she wears it. I had used a lifeline, seen in the first picture below. The second is pre-blocking. Posted by knitting harvest. Regia Silk Socks | jenamyjen

Laquo; Party Tank Top. Fun With Kool Aid. Yep, I’ve knit myself another pair of socks. I really am running out of room in my sock drawer. At least my feet will be nice and warm this winter🙂. I picked up some Regia Silk sock yarn on sale at my LYS (so much for using up what I already have on hand) and started these right away. I love this yarn. So soft and easy to knit. I did Kim’s mini-cable pattern and I love the way the pattern really stands out in this yarn. Those are SO pretty! There are one response.
