The owner of the Cabbage Patch doll has her own pyjamas in the apple tree material and with the left over scraps of material I have made the doll the same. I’ve also made socks/slippers. I hit some problems when something went awry with the tension or the feed-dog on this more modern sewing machine that belonged to my mother. And tagged Bernina sewing machines.

Mothers of wee girls adore it and it is much admired wherever it is seen. The yarn is a bamboo/wool combination which gives it the loveliest drape with warmth. Here are some custom knits I have completed. And I have begun to knit a slightly modified newborn size in a pretty pale green….more on that as I complete the garment. Selects wool and flax.
