Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Update on Dad - After the Barrx procedure. Hey all. I just got back to my place this afternoon from our adventures at the Mayo Clinic. Yesterday after the procedure was rougher than expected. Dad had an ablation procedure to remove the Barrtett's Esophagus tissue. We thought it was going to be a simple, short outpatient procedure. Turned out to still be outpatient, but it took quite a bit longer than they expected. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Aaron's Blah Blah Blog. Guy: I total...

Sunday, November 9, 2008. Jackie and Justin - Happily Ever After. Went to Jackie Ellsworth and Justin Utpadel. On Saturday in Menominee. Jackie was the Assistant Marketing Manager at Eden Prairie Center while I was there, and became a really good friend. I drove over with Nancy Litwin. The General Manager of Eden Prairie Center, and had a really nice time catching up with her. I think, after all of the updates, I could walk right back into my old job and pick up where I left off. Justin is headed back to...

Saturday, August 23, 2008. A Whole New Breed. Have you ever heard of a " shi. Its that creature that lives in the bottom of an outhouse that most sane people are afraid of. The topic of this elusive stalker came up on Friday night at Tuura's. Landing. A group of us were sitting around a picnic table until well after 1am, listening to the waves crash against the Lake Superior shore and watching the expansive sky above for shooting stars (we saw many! But neither were readily available. (whew! That we were...

ck's update: March 2009
http://heyck.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 5, 2009. Holy cow. It's been awhile since I've posted on here, hasn't it? Wellllll, lots of changes! I have accepted a job offer in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (between Milwaukee and Chicago) and start next week with Prime Retail! Kind of in a fog. I have my to-do lists, and am working diligently on those. I'm on autopilot, and have the distinct feeling that I'm going to look back on this period in a few weeks and wonder where I am and how in the heck I got there! Aaron's Blah Blah Blog.

Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Concert: Coldplay at the Exel Center, St Paul. So I'd been waiting for this one for awhile. I bought the tickets through the Best Buy Reward Zone presale event in May while I was visiting in Las Vegas. The show was originally scheduled for July, but they decided to push it back. Brought my camera and shot pics and video of the concert. Got some really good shots - I was surprised. Sunday, November 9, 2008. Jackie and Justin - Happily Ever After. On Saturday in Menominee.

ck's update: Round Two at the Mayo
http://heyck.blogspot.com/2008/09/round-two-at-mayo.html
Friday, September 26, 2008. Round Two at the Mayo. Interesting week. Dad had his second of four appointments at the Mayo on Tuesday to treat his Barrett's Disease. This session wasn't as severe as the first one - dad actually was able to walk out of the Mayo. The first time there had been two "suspicious spots." Dr Gastout. Took him a long time to calm down and then he slept and seemed "normal." He and mom drove back to Superior on Wednesday. So Thursday, mom calls to tell me that she is over at St Lukes.
