Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: September 2012
http://teakells.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! Pat had met most of the team, but until now I had not. Would they like me? Yep, I'm a little insecure. I also wondered how well they had gotten to know Pat! We made sure to show our true selves, made even easier by the fact that we had a serious hit of allergies. We just didn't feel the energy to fake anything, not that we do that sort of thing anyway! Respectfully ask to borrow and repost pictures that others took! Those girls weren't afra...

Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: December 2012
http://teakells.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! We have gone through quite a bit this last year. At the start of the year, Melissa started a new job with an oilfield inspection company. Pat worked long hours outdoors welding at a natural gas storage site in Kenai. Our house was beginning its 3. Year for sale. We had no idea what was in store for us. We have very fluid plans from here on out. We hope to go to Ghana in January to build another I.T.V. When this is complete, ...I have been t...

The Moody Lifestyle: March 2013
http://themoodylifestyle.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Kind of silly, I know, but it's true! Anyway, I just wanted to share with you how proud I am of my crush:) He has worked so hard and long (with an often not-so-supportive wife) to get his seminary degree in order to become a Chaplain in the Air National Guard. He already obtained his Master's in Administration several years ago, which is 37 credit hours (I think). His Masters of Divinity degree was 72 credit hours- nearly double his first one! Links to this post. No Wonder they C...

The Moody Lifestyle: October 2012
http://themoodylifestyle.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 6, 2012. I think I can remember you at 9 months! See how I got you to lay still for your 9 month pics? Bo, you are just the most perfect little baby! So, now you can see that not having an ounce of dairy in your diet has improved your skin tremendously! You still have eczema, but it can be controlled with some cream. You will notice that you can feed yourself a bottle. I love that you are becoming more independent! She would gag on anything chunky till she was almost 2. Not kidding.

Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: Our Big News!!!!
http://teakells.blogspot.com/2013/08/our-big-news.html
Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! Just kidding. We have no big news, I just felt like jumping on the bandwagon of several members of my family lately! I did feel like I could share more about what has been going on (mostly just with me, not Pat! Today I legitimately began my new job. Again? I have little to no interruptions, I don't have to make small talk over and over again, and I get to mark off my to-do list! You knew I was an introvert, right? Now, don't get the idea t...

Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: July 2012
http://teakells.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! The packing up is in full swing. We have officially begun to load up our trailers. One trailer has a full load, one layer high, of totes. The enclosed trailer now has the loveseat (one of our most precious possessions! It's leather, so it's our luxury item! Pat's gotten his welders loaded and secured. It is fascinating to see all of our blessings in possessions as we load up tools and machines. We are getting things done, though there seems...

Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: Homecoming
http://teakells.blogspot.com/2013/02/homecoming.html
Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! I am debating on sharing pictures of the house on which we have just signed a contract. I don't want to jinx it! I am really excited about this place. No more pawning our belongings to others for unknown periods of time, though I'm not sure that was a bad thing for some of them! A quick peek of the inside; I totally love the orange cabinets and creative tile work! Hopefully our closing date will be the 18th of this month! I am so Lucky!

Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: August 2012

Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! Last Days and Long Drives. Before we headed off on our way out of Alaska, we had to fit in one last trip on the Kenai River! We went out with Ed O'Connor with Advantage Angling (nice plug, eh? And we had a great time! The river was brisk in the wee hours of the morning, but we fought our way to our 3 Silver Salmon. This is the scene I had for most of the trip:. We decided to add our next stage onto the "sign" and hope we see it again someday.

Alaska to Africa to... Adventures!: June 2012
http://teakells.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Alaska to Africa to. Adventures! Living a Dream Wherever We Are! I haven't been as quick to post lately, as our plates have been getting a bit jumbled! Pat has continued to work on the trailer, getting it enclosed and sealed up! Yep, Pat is way tougher when getting shot up than I am. He got 5 shots and I got 4. I had to lie down after getting the first two due to the rapid drop in blood pressure! I have still been trying to embrace all things Alaskan, specifically rhubarb! And replacing them with another...
