The Workout Plan: Food | The Lazy Chef

https://alazychef.wordpress.com/2011/03/09/the-workout-plan-food

The Workout Plan: Food. March 9, 2011 at 5:12 am. When it comes to exercising, I always struggle to decide which is better: Eat before a workout and face muscle cramps and a full stomach? Or wait to chow down after I work out, disregarding all of the hard work I’ve just done? After much research, I think I have found the solution. Pasta is great after a workout too, and before I go [work out] I try and eat some peanut butter or something to give me a little extra energy. Since I don’t formally workout, m...

We, the people, in order to form a more perfect diet | The Lazy Chef

We, the people, in order to form a more perfect diet. February 8, 2011 at 4:25 am. Eat Right 4 Your Type. And therefore, I had no choice but to buy the pricier, yet more delicious, meats. I expected the price of foods to be the overall reason why most people choose to eat or avoid certain foods because it’s certainly been my reason. Suprisingly, when asking about what is most important when it comes to diet, there was no one response that dominated the vote. More and more I’m starting to believe th...

May I have your attention, please? January 26, 2011 at 5:16 pm. I have some questions for you all to get a little bit of input for my next blog post. What’s one of your favorite foods or dishes to put together that doesn’t take a lot of time to prepare but still tastes super delicious? As a college student, do you look for meals that are quick and easy? Does what you eat play as an importance in your life or are you more concerned about getting rid of the hunger? 8230;19-20-21-2-Ooh look french fries! February 22, 2011 at 11:03 pm. A salad didn’t seem satisfying and, honestly, my refrigerator has been looking a little sparse lately so my options were slim. After a good workout, or what you may consider a workout, what foods do you eat? Are you concerned about following up with a healthy meal or do you feel that because you worked out, you deserve a Chipotle burrito? How can you satisfy your hunger but stay healthy after exercise? The Stress of Speech | The Antisocial Butterflies

https://theantisocialbutterflies.wordpress.com/2011/03/12/the-stress-of-speech

The Stress of Speech. March 12, 2011. There are an infinite amount of words in the English language. We make them up, we string them together. Alone, these words are anything but awkward. Sometimes, they’re beautiful. Scary. Gross. Weird. Boring. Offensive. Pleasant. But there is no word that is awkward in itself. Not even the word awkward is actually awkward. By its own definition. Have you ever met someone that is genuinely terrified of taking a writing class? A stretch, perhaps but not by much. Some t...

The Antisocial Butterflies | Page 2

January 17, 2011. To the hoi polloi, to personally experience a socially awkward encounter is chalked up to something everyone deals with. Embarrassment is just an intuitive emotion that is part of the human spectrum of feelings and reactions to unfamiliar situations our brain encounters. The natural interpretation of these events is to perceive them with humor. The best I can hope for is that the soup doesn’t scald my skin. January 8, 2011. I made him take the rose back. I was confused; nobody had e...

About | The Antisocial Butterflies

https://theantisocialbutterflies.wordpress.com/about

Everybody has quirks. We all have secrets, and we all second-guess ourselves. This is normal. What I have realized, perhaps, is not normal is feeling your eyelids twitch and your throat lump when you notice someone staring at you. Maybe you play with your food when out to eat. Rip up napkins. Count Splenda packets. My name is Hannah. I am a. Let’s laugh about it. The ideal photo for an antisocial butterfly is one that shows you as vaguely as possible, or focuses mainly on another object or person. You ar...

https://theantisocialbutterflies.wordpress.com/2011/02/20/with-all-the-best-intentions

With All the Best Intentions. February 20, 2011. I wonder what it feels like to be described as suave. Charming, even. Urbane. Dreamy. You know, the words that come to mind when you leaf through magazines and see perfectly staged ads for cologne, lipstick, expensive vodka. Have you ever looked at personal ads in a newspaper? I’m an athletic, educated and funny single 20-something looking for someone I can stay up with and talk to all night. Sounds pretty good, right? The first guy who wanted to date me w...

Ever Had a Job Interview Mishap? January 25, 2011. For some people, though, we never get used to the agony that is the pressure of a job interview. You know how your mom always used to tell you that there are such things as “good nerves”? This is true. There are nerves that build anticipation and foster motivation to succeed. And then there are bad nerves. These make us anxious in a way that causes us to lose our concentration, and sometimes fail. If so, what happened? Repeat yourself ten times? To someo...

I Need This Job. February 7, 2011. The domino effect. We all know that it’s when one event sets off a chain of more events. The force this first event creates can’t be stopped, no matter how disastrous those that follow it may be. Sometimes, we feel it more than others. Socially, the gravity of the domino effect depends on the circumstances. In high-stress situations like job interviews, the force is usually unstoppable and terribly destructive. For some of us. Envy Must be nice. According to Beth Miller...

A Lazy Crazy Life

Thursday, March 5, 2015. Even if it means going to school! Adam ventured out to work every day, making me a nervous wreck (I'm paranoid) when. Every single time,. He forgot to text me that he got there safe. The biggest punch in the gut from good old Mother Nature came at 1am on Thursday when our power went out due to the heavy, wet snow taking down trees and power lines. It sure was gorgeous though! We don't even own a snow shovel- we had to borrow the neighbor's. We packed up and headed to Adam's work ...

alazydaisy89 | These are things I say

These are things I say. Here’s my honest, reflection post. So I was excited when Susan Cain stood up for us introverts and persisted that we could be just as creative as our extrovert counterparts. We are thoughtful and more creative and need to be heard! So I just read Underbelly for tomorrow, and all I can say is…what the fuck was that? I love books in print because they tell you exactly how to read it, and things make sense. I don’t need directions to read a story; it already makes logical s...And I a...
