Bears a Spring hazard on mountain golf courses. Iceland is In – active volcanic island is a tourist hotspot →. June 21, 2014 · 12:01 pm. Braving the Glacier Skywalk. Even though I’m afraid of heights, there’s plenty of places. To pose and ponder. Along the Glacier Skywalk. Yes, I’m smiling. I just walked around the glass-bottom lookout. I stand frozen, like the mighty Athabasca Glacier, at the edge of the steel walkway that leads to the glass portion of the horseshoe-shaped lookout. I recall approaching ...

Ramblings from a Raucous Mind: June 2013
http://colleenseto.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 17, 2013. Okay, I admit it. Initially, I wasn't entirely thrilled about the idea of bringing Annabel to Maui. My husband and I loved the island so much as a couple; would bringing a toddler along ruin the mystique? Would our tropical paradise turn into a screaming nightmare? Ramblings from a Raucous Mind: Second Babies Get the Shaft?
http://colleenseto.blogspot.com/2014/09/second-babies-get-shaft.html
Monday, September 29, 2014. Second Babies Get the Shaft? Baby Levi may be second, but not second-rate! I know that many fellow parents feel they've fallen victim to second-baby syndrome, but as you'll see in my story, it's rarely as bad as we make it out to be. Unfortunately, guilt seems to go hand-inhand with parenthood.fodder for a future story. Ps Clearly my blog has fallen to third baby or more accurately, 10th or maybe 20th. Ha! Ramblings from a Raucous Mind: March 2014
http://colleenseto.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Wow, have been very delinquent about updating my blog! I guess that's what happens when a new baby is on the way. Sorry folks, had to focus on wrapping up mostly corporate contracts to make sure we had a bit of a nest egg saved up before baby arrived. Don't have the luxury of EI for this mat leave, what with the whole freelancing life! I did make time to write my first cover feature story for Swerve. I'm glad I got to write it, and even happier that Swerve.

Ramblings from a Raucous Mind: August 2014
http://colleenseto.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2014. From Spaceman to Horseman. Last month, William Shatner AKA Captain Kirk was the Calgary Stampede's Grand Marshal. I was sent to find out what the good ol' captain had to say about the job for Canadian Living. Magazine. Mr. Shatner did not disappoint; he was chatty and funny, and I felt like sitting on his knee (in a friendly Santa way, not a creepy old man way). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, August 15, 2013. Photo courtesy of Tourism Richmond. As I prepare to head to Richmond next week to revisit the night markets there, my story in up! About the markets from my visit last summer is actually in this month's edition. I'm excited to check out what's new and different, and also to enjoy some of my old favourites. Fried squid anyone? I encourage you to go do the same. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ramblings from a Raucous Mind. View my complete profile.
