Stuff of Thought: July 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. An American who doesn't know how to make coffee? I'm a sort of rarity here, I suppose. I received a brief tutorial in coffee-making this morning. Then I was asked to make some for a client meeting. I just delivered the finished product to the conference room, and my coworker was kind enough to supply a disclaimer that this was the American intern's first attempt at making coffee. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Do you hear that?

Stuff of Thought: The last question.
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2009/03/last-question.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. It's the question that few people think to prepare for in a job interview. Or maybe I'm the only one that forgets about it. Perhaps it's because you've already spent so much time preparing your answers to the typical job interview questions: "Why do you want to work here? What's your greatest weakness? What kind of experience do you have? Etcand you don't think about that ever-so-important last question. You frantically st...

Bella Bostonian: December 2009
http://bellabostonian.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
My journey from Minneapolis to Boston.and beyond! Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Isn’t this Dickens quote beautiful? Melodramatic, poetic, filled with emotion and imagery. I thought I’d begin my blog post with this quote even though (or perhaps, because) nothing I write will be able to compare in tone or technique. Since returning to Minnesota, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on how people, places, and things can become a part of myself. Returning to Minneapolis has been interesting. In some ways,...

Stuff of Thought: February 2009
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. No Pork Burrito for Kellie. The line was too long.I wonder how many new Twitter accounts were created last night for that pork burrito. Some people will do anything for free food.especially college students. Well, maybe a little. But it was nothing a plate of fully-loaded chicken nachos from a less-crowded Mexican restaurant couldn't fix. I was quite satisfied. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Next I installed twhirl.

Stuff of Thought: August 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. I'm training for a marathon. It's in 5 1/2 weeks. And the farthest I've run to date is eight miles. Hmmm, it's probably time to step it up, Kellie.". I'm starting to readjust. But it's clear I've got my work cut out for me. Thursday, August 14, 2008. I've been back in the US for four days now. And there are some things I've noticed:. My apartment has a distinct smell, too. (Rest assured, it's not a nasty smell.). American...

Stuff of Thought: September 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. I'm going to Ghana in November. This means I have the distinct privilege of playing host to several vaccinations (6 in all), including yellow fever and typhoid. Fortunately, the disease is not contagious. Unless I was a mosquito and I bit someone. Then we might have a problem. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. View my complete profile. Caution, Hot Water is Hot.

Stuff of Thought: October 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Monday, October 20, 2008. A very long, soggy 26.2. On October 4th I ran the St. George Marathon with my dad and my sister. Or perhaps I should say I ran the first two miles with them before they took off ahead of me. Around mile 16 a sharp pain shot through the sole of my left foot and slowed me to a very painful walk. I started cursing myself for not buying new shoes before the race. I knew that these shoes were getting near the end of th...When ...

Stuff of Thought: November 2008
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Well, I'm outta here. Be back in ten days. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. I'm leaving for Ghana next week. I'll be gone for ten days, filming stuff for a documentary I'm co-producing for KBYU. I've never been to a third-world country before.but as I've been doing some research, I've noticed there are a lot of things I take for granted. Here are some interesting stats I pulled from the World Factbook. Follow me on Twitter.

Stuff of Thought: Life lesson #56
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2009/03/life-lesson-56.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Friday, March 27, 2009. Never use liquid detergent in a dishwasher. Because no matter how small the amount, it WILL cause a flood in your kitchen. But, a few minutes later, I returned to the kitchen and found it looking much like a bubble bath. On the bright side, I can check "mop kitchen floor" off my to-do list. Just like an episode of I love Lucy or something. Congrats! March 27, 2009 at 5:50 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Stuff of Thought: Twitter
http://stuffofthought.blogspot.com/2009/02/twitter.html
Miscellaneous musings on most things that occupy my mind. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I've been considering it for a while.but, to be honest, the tipping point was the free Costa Vida pork burrito. For anyone who starts following Costa Vida on Twitter. I'm a sucker for those sweet, cheesy, smothered heaps of goodness. Next I installed twhirl. So I can twitter from my desktop. Then I installed Twitterrific on my iPhone so I can twitter from there too. And all because of a Costa Vida pork burrito.
