I Heart Old: June 2011
http://i-heart-old.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 30, 2011. The last of Boston, at last. Greg and I had a stroll around the grounds of this university you may have heard of to take in the hallowedness the dreary morning of our last day in town. Much red brick and much large trees, not much different than so many other campuses really. But nice enough none the less, and I suppose it does have 375 years to its name, a rare credential on this side of the Atlantic. Liked this juxtaposition of old and new. We slipped in and out of here. I b...

Training hard, hardly training…. Boston marathon 2012: pre-gaming. Alright-I know this post is way overdue! Been a busy couple of weeks🙂. So even though the final time was not what I had hoped for, everything else about the Boston Marathon. And the surrounding events lived up to the hype. And then some. Instead of one long-winded post, I decided I’d break it up into 3, like I did for my first marathon…I think it deserves that respect🙂. Saturday, April 14. Time to make the train trip up to Boston! Due t...

Fiona on the road: Boston
http://fionaontheroad.blogspot.com/2016/09/3-jours-boston.html
18 sept. 2016.

Chicago | the Apartment Baker
https://theapartmentbaker.wordpress.com/chicago
In New York I’ve discovered slightly sweet yet savory, 75 steamed buns. And in Boston I’ve dived into a plate of homemade fusilli with vodka sauce, scallops, and shrimp. And the next day had the richest and creamiest ice cream. I have ever eaten. My food adventures in Chicago my home are a rarity though. I blame it on this faulty logic: I live in Chicago. I have all the time in the world to eat my way through the city. Plus, why pay for food when I can cook it at home? 8212;————&#...Bat 17 (Evanston, IL).

Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Vacation is officially O.V.E.R. We got back into town late Friday night and to say I was naive about going back to reality is an understatement. Boston had tryouts for a traveling baseball team early Saturday morning then it was just going to be a lazy day by the pool. which it was, but then we had Madi's parents vs players game (where almost no other parents showed up), Sunday lazy day as well. then Monday came - BOOM - reality hit me in the face! I am a little concerned that o...
