King Cobe's Decrees: September 2012
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
September 28, 2012. Have you ever stopped to think about what you do every day? Not for what immediate purpose you do it - but what you are literally doing. Does it make sense? I assume you are a rational actor in your own life. You must first satiate your immediate physical needs. You've gotta eat. When you eat - what do you eat? A clever and ecologically conscious reader might snap back that they eat "local" and "organic" foods. But those are very relative terms. A reactionary against the industrial re...

King Cobe's Decrees: February 2012

February 23, 2012. Lost Hero: Stephen Biko. A code word for racialism and violence. Where a person goes from there. is everywhere. From predicting or advocating or participating in race war to advocating "a completely non-racial society," as Stephen Biko. Did for South Africa in the 70s, in this clip of an interview. Longer audio clip of same interview here. If a picture speaks a thousand words than this video speaks a million(if you believe in multiplication). Biko's martyrdom as well as his legacy....

King Cobe's Decrees: May 2011

May 29, 2011. Pictured Above: A baton never passed. I've done a bit of reading on how to define Hipster, and when this sillyness started, and was surprised that I didn't agree with most writers on the topic. That makes no fucking sense. It's a bad accident that Hipster. The way I remember it, in the 90's, the new subculture was Raver. In the early 00's there were Art School kids, then Emos, then a brief Hardcore. Monstrosity. You get it? So what the hell is a Hipster? Look At This Fucking Hipster. Snobbi...

King Cobe's Decrees: January 2012
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
January 31, 2012. War and What It's Good For. Terminology has changed. Just think of the terms Protest. They don't mean the same things they used to- even only 50 years ago. Wars. Used to be the most serious business. No one went to war until they hated each other and wanted to destroy each other. The greatest war by these standards was perhaps the American Civil War, in which victorious Union General William Tecumseh Sherman said:. On the other side of conflict- riots. And the Occupy movement. You see t...

July 31, 2011. The Atheism That Isn't There. Pictured above: We can only hope. You can make any political argument you want to, but be sure your argument starts with:. See that thing over there? And then you can go on to state your case. You can pick anything. Something like poverty, industry, civil rights,. Or anything else- as long as it's a real thing. Religion is a special case, because all arguments from a religious perspective start with-. You know that thing you can't see? No, I really don't,.

King Cobe's Decrees: March 2012
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
March 25, 2012. The killing of Trayvon Martin and the Failure to Arrest George Zimmerman is a mammoth miscarriage of justice. What people do afterwards is another thing entirely. I'm supportive of the 'No Justice, No Peace' sentiment, 'Fuck The Police,' and the efforts by activists to take our forever-unjust racist 'criminal justice' system to task. However I read what some strangers are saying now, about 2 months after Trayvon Martin's killing, and have to cringe. Black People. It's not because Blac...

King Cobe's Decrees: April 2012
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
April 30, 2012. May 1st, 2012. There are dynamic forces at work. If you had told me in early 2011 that there was going to be a global campaign of horizontally-organized resistance to Global Financial Powers, Government Corruption and the Fleecing of Workers called the "Occupy" movement, which was going to take off rapidly through internet exposure, I would say it was impossible. The Largest General Strike in the United States was the Great Railroad Strike of 1877. So what will it look like? Every artery ...

King Cobe's Decrees: August 2011
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
August 17, 2011. Peanut Butter and Jealousy. There are plenty of great reasons to tax the hell out of the super-rich; their riches have never been as super, they're not doing anything with their riches except multiplying them, and they pay a lower tax-percentage than the working and non-working classes do. But the greatest reason to tax the super-rich is jealousy. Watch sports, and think 'I could've done better! Be at least as successful as they are. Not even make you rich- just sustain your existence.

King Cobe's Decrees: December 2011
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
December 25, 2011. What is to be done? Come the fuck on." - Ron Paul. I participated in Occupy,. And continue to champion it's cause,. Because in it I saw a frustration and a hope that I shared. Hope. It's a phrase that's been cheapened by our warmongering president; But I know real hope when I see it. I was initially annoyed to see Ron Paul supporters. At the protest I went to they had plenty of big, official campaign shit, including a huge blue Ron Paul 2012. And he has come out against all Abortion...

King Cobe's Decrees: October 2011
http://kingcobesdecrees.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
October 21, 2011. Today was a trip. I've been involved in the #OccupyWallStreet. Movement and been following it very closely online; really, as if it's my only hope. I'm convinced it's not only my only hope, it's my countries only hope(and I wasn't even a patriot before. It's the only hope. As explained by movement hero Chris Hedges. Known recently for his appearance on Chappelle's show, hosting the 'Ask a Black dude' sketc. As my friend Graham Andrews, #TheNihlist. Everyone laughed for the right reasons.
