New media trainee, for tv and film industry in Wales (Cymru). Monday, February 13, 2006. It’s late in the day at the end of a remarkable first week in Malaysia. Since the most recent workshop we had undertaken was on streaming media, I thought why not focus my project on something of similar nature. I'm sure that's supposed to be used in a more poetic context. However, the. New media trainee course 2006 is over, and my placement with Nant has turned into a full time job, hence one thing ends another begins, very literal. What can I say about the course apart from it's been a supurb experience and well worth the hardship of having to associate with.

Wednesday, April 12, 2006. I can scarcely believe that I have been at Cwmni Da now for five weeks. The time has flown by. I'm still plodding on with the SMS application for the Urdd Eisteddfod. AS time has gone on more and more issues have cropped up, which has slowed me down quite a bit. Friday, July 28, 2006. I've just got back from the Royal Welsh. Where me and Sioned. Spent four days filming content for S4C's Sioe. All preparations for the site had been made previously, so we could concentrate on the shooting. Friday, March 17, 2006. Exactly two weeks ago I landed on this bit of land from Malaysia, and after a week's rest, I've joined the happy people at Cwmni Da. Although I've yet to be given my own desk (next Wednesday) and have to wait for the delivery of my new computer. I think I've settled in rather well. Monday, December 12, 2005. This morning we visited Acen. A not-for-profit company who help people learn Welsh. They have enthusiastically embraced the internet and new media, and are using the technologies available to their full potential. They currently run an internet radio station, Radio Acen FM. Friday, June 09, 2006. I've finally recovered from the Urdd Eisteddfod 2006 experience, and what an experience it was. After spending Monday running about screaming, frantically waving our arms in the air, me and Alice. Got in the swing of things for the rest of the week. Message service (finally) worked liked a dream, but the take up was light, so it will need stronger marketing next year.
