Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Happy 2-year anniversary P! Chocolate, coconut cake with marshmallows and butter pecan ice cream. Peanut butter semifreddo with chocolate macarons. Chocolate apricot bread pudding with chocolate orange ice cream. Number of years made the experience all that more nostalgic. I can't wait to see what the next year brings! Monday, April 22, 2013. Worm to walnut to BABY. 11 weeks - looks like he's got some socks on! Almost all head, he's just a walnut. 17 weeks - looks like a BEBE.

Thursday, October 24, 2013. I don't need a change-o machine. I feel like I'm forever playing catch-up on things. But with my new, life-changing iPhone (like, upgraded from traditional DUMB PHONE), I'm sometimes able to post some PS outfits. The large majority of clothes we were able to inherit from a friend, and some were gifts, so it's been fun putting together outfits of different styles. Saturday, November 03, 2012. While in Amersham, I got reacquainted with all the roundabouts - those Brits don't much like stop signs. This kept playing in my head. Well, I came to the conclusion that you're not. So my rule became to never cross the street. If I came to a roundabound, I had to go left. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. My "are you kidding me" face. Very attractive. Turns out, it IS really rich. We saw giant mansions and expensive cars. We also saw plenty of kids (pre-teens/teenagers) dining out on their own at expensive restaurants. We figured they were the offspring of rich people there to visit their monies. Sunday, December 16, 2012. Last weekend was W's surprise bachelorette party! It was an elaborate undertaking with a carefully constructed diversion, but it came off without a hitch! Good job, B and me. The groom's bachelor party was coincidentally planned for the same weekend, and at some point we discussed how girls' parties are different from boys' parties. Thursday, April 10, 2014. Brings a whole new meaning. I never put much thought into it, but having a baby has really made me think about those age-old phrases. Never wake a sleeping baby". I have done it. It's followed by a lot of crying, but you're supposed to feed them every 3 hours in the beginning, so you have to wake the sleeping baby! Sleeps like a baby". Newborns only have REM sleep, so you can poke 'em all you like, and you won't wake them! This is not true once they start developing sleep stages.
