http://hannahwiitala.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Finding beauty in the ordinary. Sunday, October 25, 2009. There's one in all of us. Trevor was in town for a day and a half this weekend as Eisley was playing at The Vic on Friday night. It was great to see him but bittersweet at the same time knowing that he was only going to be leaving again. But nonetheless, we enjoyed our time together and then parted ways early this morning. We went to the movies and saw Where The Wild Things Are. It was amazing! Just go see it and you'll find out for yourself!

For many of the young residents of Huntington.

Life in the 4-0 Lane. Staying present in the present, Making sense of some past, Embracing the future one crisis at a time. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. To The Better Man. This is an excerpt from a piece I wrote November 25, 1991:. One early Sunday morning the phone rang. It was him. I started believing I'd really see him again. At the same time, I wanted to lie down and sleep. Summer was long, and hot and slow. His sister calling, "Can you see him? Is worth war is much worse. The person who has not...

Finding beauty in the ordinary. Saturday, September 11, 2010. I DO know that God is so much bigger than us and our labels and compartments. And that gives me so much hope. That's all for tonight. Friday, September 3, 2010. Keeper Of The Birds. I remember being six or seven and lying on the floor of the sun room of our house on Ball Street letting the beams of sunlight warm my face. I would lay silently, waiting patiently for the moment! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Along the road Home.

Hanada: Food Rant.
http://hannahwiitala.blogspot.com/2011/01/food-rant.html
Finding beauty in the ordinary. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I just bought this book, In Defense Of Food: An Eaters Manifesto. It came in on Saturday and I finished reading it on Tuesday. I don't usually have the attention span to read books that quickly unless I am really into whatever they are about. It was sooo good! If laws that were in place back in the day still stood you wouldn't even be able to call Wonder Bread "bread"! 2 Try when I can to choose complex, non refined starches. Along the road Home.
