The TRIPPO water slide is closed for the season. Dare to ride the world's largest inflatable water slide! Tekapo Springs has brought the world's largest inflatable water slide to New Zealand, making it the first location outside of the USA to have this attraction! This amazing waterslide is 11 metres high, 53 metres long and 24 metres wide. It will be positioned on the outdoor rink at Tekapo Springs from December through to February this year. We headed up to the Alpine Hot Springs (soon to be the Tekapo Hot Springs) which they advertise as “at altitude”. I asked the lady at the pools what “at altitude” meant, and she told me that Hot Springs at Lake Tekapo are located at the highest altitude in all of New Zealand…north and south. Group lessons run for a duration of 1.5 hours. The minimum age for a child to join a group lesson is 5 years for skiing and 8 years for snowboarding. 1 April - 31 May. Families receive a 15% season pass discount.
