What Makes Altair Different? For Parents & Educators. Altair is a K-5 school. The Altair School is located on the 2nd floor of Beaverton First United Methodist Church at 12555 SW 4th St, Beaverton, OR 97005. We are a secular school. Full-time and part-time schedule options are available. For the 2015-16 school year, we have limited space for 8-11 year old students to join us for one or more weekly classes, including science, engineering, robotics and Improv. Cost is $10-12/hr depending on the class.
