l(IF)e with a capital IF: The Proposal
http://lifewithacapitalif.blogspot.com/p/proposal.html
L(IF)e with a capital IF. Just a few months into our relationship we started seriously talking marriage…we both knew right away that it was going to happen for us but just not sure when exactly. On a whim we went to Las Vegas about a month into our relationship and even half joked/half seriously talked about getting married at a tacky wedding chapel there. I was usually so tired and crabby after my 12 hour days that I wanted nothing more than to cuddle up with Walleye on the couch and veg. I couldn’...

l(IF)e with a capital IF: How we met
http://lifewithacapitalif.blogspot.com/p/how-we-met.html
L(IF)e with a capital IF. How did we meet, you may ask….it’s a good story! I bought a house in June 2007 and told my realtor I had three requests for the house: 1. it had to have an attached garage, 2. it had to have a deck and 3. it had to have cute, single male neighbors. I was 99% joking about the third requirement. I moved in the middle of June, my renter and now former friend (never rent to friends! I tried so hard to play cool and not look over at him. Eventually one of my guests heard someone outs...

L(IF)e with a capital IF. Thursday, January 17, 2013. Tonight will be one month since the last time I heard Duckie's voice. One whole month. How can that be? Saturday will be one month since he passed away and the last time I ever saw his earthly body. This past month has been a blur. The first few weeks after he passed away I don't remember much and what I do remember I can't tell you what happened when - days seem to have melded together into one long, exhausting, nightmarish day. The "Beloved Brother"...

L(IF)e with a capital IF. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Hard to believe tomorrow marks 40w! Where did it go? I can not believe how fast my pregnancy flew by - granted I know it's not over yet.according to my Doc I'll go late so I could have a week or more to go yet. It's still hard and is going to be really hard when Grandma does pass away but I know she'll be in heaven with Grandpa, their son and other loved ones. I am still holding out hope that she's around long enough to meet Lucky! Links to this post.

l(IF)e with a capital IF: What a year...
http://lifewithacapitalif.blogspot.com/2013/07/what-year.html
L(IF)e with a capital IF. Tuesday, July 9, 2013. The last year has been the hardest year of my life. We are continuously fighting fires – just as one is reduced to embers burning itself out another one springs up. They’ve ranged from one alarm to five alarm fires. It started the week after Lucky started daycare in June. Of course Lucky got sick – really sick. A late night trip to the ER, a couple trips to the doctor and urgent care. Lots of freak outs and phone calls to my parents. But there were treatme...
