Walking and documenting the residential neighborhoods of Portland, by Alyssa Starelli. Friday, July 22, 2011. Providence Heights, SE. Many of the houses are completely original, with vintage kitchens, knotty pine rumpus rooms with built in shuffleboards in the VCT flooring, period-perfect tiled baths. Ohh! This is faux grass and looks good (feels funny). Posted by Alyssa Starelli - Mid-Century Realtor. Location: 331 SE 49th Ave, Portland, OR 97215, USA. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Dolph Park, NE. Portland-by-Foot: Brooklyn 1
http://portlandbyfoot.blogspot.com/2012/11/brooklyn-1.html
Walking and documenting the residential neighborhoods of Portland, by Alyssa Starelli. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. On this day I took a huge chunk out of Brooklyn, also known as Brooklyn Action Corps. I walked from SE Holgate to SE Powell, between Milwaukie Ave and SE 17th. The short of it is, it used to have it's own town center where the Ross Island Bridge and 99E are, but alas, all that remains is the Aladdin theater and the few shops along Milwaukie Ave. Six month sold prices go from $200- 445K.

Portland-by-Foot: Buckman 2
http://portlandbyfoot.blogspot.com/2012/11/buckman-2.html
Walking and documenting the residential neighborhoods of Portland, by Alyssa Starelli. Monday, November 19, 2012. On this day, I walked the small portion of Buckman Neighborhood, from 20th to 23rd, and Belmont to Hawthorne, and streets in between. It's a coveted area because of it's situation between two trendy neighborhoods and it's proximity into town, and it's proliferation of nice apartment houses. They even have a facebook page - Buckman Historic Association. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Gresham Butte Rummer Fun! A crazy little tale of our misadventures. Sit back, grab a frosty beverage. Saturday, May 14, 2011. I can't believe I am posting my room of shame. MY office! It is an open nook just off the kitchen and family room. Yes, it is visible. VERY VISIBLE. Located right off the kitchen and family room. Here is the embarrassing BEFORE picture. Gresham Butte Rummer Fun! A crazy little tale of our misadventures. Sit back, grab a frosty beverage. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. The Wisteria must DIE. The huge wisteria on the back fence belongs to our neighbor. BUT it grows on our side of the fence. right above the pool. We waited for it to bloom before we made any trimming decisions. It has been neglected for years. Some of the branches are 2-3 inches thick! Final decision: it's gotta go. Well, at least trim it back to the fence. No I'm not on my way dow...
