Alzheimer's moments with mom. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Where are your shoes? Friday, August 1, 2014. We are on vacation in Montana. We've had five days of hiking and biking up the beautiful Rocky Mountains! What a great way to enjoy the mountains. I am especially happy because my back has handled all the exercise! Today, we decided we needed to get a few things done so we got the oil changed. Ken got a haircut. We ate lunch out and did a little shopping. It was a relaxing day. I started to cry!

Alzheimer's moments with mom. Friday, October 26, 2012. I went to see her on Wednesday and she saw me coming through the window of the door! She waved her arm calling me. We talked a bit and then I got her up to go for a walk. We were cruising down the hall and I said, "Mom, I love you." She responded by stopping and hugging me and saying, "I love you too. Alzheimer's moments with mom. Monday, October 10, 2011. My sister from Missouri came to Wisconsin to help out my Dad for a couple weeks. What a pleasure to have her here! When we came to the door, she was leaning over her bed talking to her two baby dolls! It was such a sweet sight. She heard us and turned around but then sat next to her dolls and cuddled them. Then she ate a chicken salad sandwich, the rest of the veggies and the rest of the salad. Yes, it was a good day with mom. GOD IS IN CONTROL.
