Adventures in the Northwest. The first night after she was born, Fianna slept for two 3-hour periods of time. I though "Wow! And truthfully, it makes sense to me when I consider my preferred parenting style. My baby can go two hours does not necessarily mean that after the 1 hour 15 minutes that she's not hungry again. October 30, 2011. I had my surgery on Friday. It's been two days and I'm feeling more normal now. I half-way showered today and felt less like a bum because of it. Having a huge gash in my neck isn't even something I worried about. (Other thoughts occupied my pre-surgery anxious state - like not waking up after surgery, waking-up during surgery, not being able to move my head, bleeding too much, blood clots, etc.) But, a Halloween-appropriate bandage across my neck? What kind of surgery did you have?
