Get your mind out of the gutter. The Places Ill Go! Saturday, October 01, 2011. Canadian Rockies, Day 2. The theme of the day is “inappropriate footwear”. We woke up early to head toward the Columbia Ice Fields. We had a big breakfast in Evergreen Restaurant in the hotel. It took longer than expected, but we were still on the road before 9am. We did have to make a quick stop into North Face so that I could buy a fleece. Who goes to Canada without a jacket? We passed some truly amazing sights along the way.

There was a major hockey game of some kind so Nashville was swarming with Red Wings fans. We went to Wild Bill's Beignets and Bikes to sit on their lovely rooftop and get fried food.
