American Pulp, Ind.: Forget the papers, forget your musical dreams.

http://americanpulp.blogspot.com/2008/04/forget-papers-forget-your-musical.html

American Pulp, Ind. American - of or pertaining to the United States of America or its inhabitants. Pulp - the soft, juicy, edible part of a fruit. Thursday, April 24, 2008. Forget the papers, forget your musical dreams. My hands feel bigger, too. My body aches and I am not sick. I don't like this. I wouldn't mind if it had occurred during the summer, when I can sleep for longer and not have to worry about missing much. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. American Pulp, Ind. American - of or pertaining to the United States of America or its inhabitants. Pulp - the soft, juicy, edible part of a fruit. Monday, July 30, 2007. Day 65 - You might sleep but you'll never.dream.into the ECHELON! Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face. Do You Realize - we're floating in space -. Do You Realize - that happiness makes you cry. Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die. And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know. She sai...

American Pulp, Ind.: October 2007

http://americanpulp.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

American Pulp, Ind. American - of or pertaining to the United States of America or its inhabitants. Pulp - the soft, juicy, edible part of a fruit. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. After we have seen God's face we have a choice: we go deeper and accept what we've seen, accepting that God and you are one, or we reject it. If we reject it, then we are voiding ourselves in the Nothingness. And some will be reborn multiple times in their lives, shifting like beached whales until they settle on God or Nothingness.

American Pulp, Ind.: And I got to Paris....

http://americanpulp.blogspot.com/2008/05/and-i-got-to-paris.html

American Pulp, Ind. American - of or pertaining to the United States of America or its inhabitants. Pulp - the soft, juicy, edible part of a fruit. Tuesday, May 06, 2008. And I got to Paris. I skipped geology to take a nap today- it turned out the class was cancelled. Either way, the dream I had was epiphanic and completely worth the nap. I am content for once. I can finally say I'm okay with a lot of things I'm usually not okay with. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

serendipitous wanderings: November 2008

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Aunt Connie- thanks for asking to see photos of the garden! I've been a bit too lazy to take any lately (plus it is always dark by the time I get home! But I am adding two other photos to make up for it in the mean time. Garden photos shall be posted soon. This is me, Laura, Buster, and a giant carrot from the garden. We are quite the happy family. *The headlamp was used to find the carrot in the garden cause it was too dark to see without it! I plucked her off the leaf a...

serendipitous wanderings: 366 days

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2009/11/366-days.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Had this been a leap year, today would be exactly one year since my last post. Unfortunately it is not a leap year, so we get no happy round numbers. I have been trapped at home for the past four days with a nasty bout of influenza. I have noticed during this time that being a sick adult is quite different from being a sick child. This is most apparent to me as I stare around my room at the soiled dishes I. Have to clean once I feel well. Wait? November 25, 2009 at 9:56 AM.

serendipitous wanderings: December 2009

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Christmas is a comin! This morning marked the first Christmas event (that I've have participated in) of the season! We had three girls show up today to bake and it was quite a time. We made sugar cookies, brownies and rice krispy. Treats. The one thing that struck me was how "grossed out" all of these girls were with the amount of fat that went into each of these recipes. The girl making the cookies commented "2/3 cup of butter AND 2/3 cup of shortening? The girl on krispy.

serendipitous wanderings: amongst a blade of grass

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2008/10/amongst-blade-of-grass.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Amongst a blade of grass. Is real, I thought, this. Is reality. I laid there and held to my breast the knowledge of something bigger: millennia of human activity, eons of cells dividing and molecules colliding. something so big that my mind gave in and relaxed. All shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of thing shall be well. November 1, 2008 at 8:26 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Santa Barbara, United States. serendipitous wanderings: October 2008

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. This is an except from a reflection dated: 23/11/2007. I reread it today and thought it would be nice to post here. Here is the first bit, it continues, but I will keep it short for now:. My time here, so far. Amongst a blade of grass. Is real, I thought, this. All shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of thing shall be well. My mom came over and said: Oxalis? Lavender on the window sill. We've got quite a bit of lavender from the six plants in the gard...

serendipitous wanderings: Some photos

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2008/10/some-photos.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Today I am posting a few photos from around the garden. I feel a bit silly posting photos of our garden, but there are some quite pretty things to share and sometimes it is nice to see these things instead of just read about them. My mom came over and said: Oxalis? I guess one woman's weed is another woman's treasure. Below is one of the two Oxalis plants I bought at the Horticulture Society sale. Some lettuce in the winter vegetable garden. Newspaper makes a great mu...

serendipitous wanderings: September 2008

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Ces choses que j'ai appris. Topic one: little trees. Topic two: autumnal equinox. So, the autumnal equinox is this Monday.and I think that's pretty exciting. Just in case you were wondering, "On a day which has an equinox, the centre of the Sun will spend a nearly equal amount of time above and below the horizon at every location on Earth and night and day will be of nearly the same length.". Topic three: Picasso in Santa Barbara. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

serendipitous wanderings: December 2007

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. A Joyous Holiday Season. Similar to my last post, I am writing from a sun-filled room on a warm California winter day. First, I want to say that it has been such a pleasure to see all of you these past few days! We both anticipate a wonderful time travelling and being together. I will be sure to post 'Adventures with Kevin' photos come mid-January. Doesn't think like it would take that much effort does it? But with no classes or lectures next term, I think the structure w...

serendipitous wanderings: April 2008

http://serendipitouswanderings.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Or Adventures in Moving Forward. Across the world and back. First, let me plead for forgiveness regarding my recent lack of posting! Much has happened since I last posted to this blog. I've started the writing phase of my dissertation, I've travelled to the southern hemisphere, and I've decided to move back to Santa Barbara at the summer. First things first: writing. Writing, writing, writing. How does one find so many words in such a short time? I thought it was a dance! Third: Santa Barbara. Yes, I...
