Catherine Chapple: February 2014
http://catherinechapple.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
The digital bakery-intage startze. Sunday, 23 February 2014. My finished wall hanging. Sunday, 9 February 2014. This wall hanging is a work in progress, sorry the photo isn't great, winter light and all that. I need to edge it, back it and attach it to some doweling to hang it. I'll post some better photos when it's finished. Here is one I made for a friend's daughter, Georgia. Inspired by an Angie Hughes workshop. They are so much fun to make! And my favourite, in their winter coats.

Rev Andrew's Blog: July 2012
http://writingsapb.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sermons - mainly based on Lectionary Readings but also on themes. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. B Ordinary 15. Amos 7: 7-15; Mark 6: 14-29. It is only really a courtesy title because he was merely a puppet of the Roman government, but he was quite powerful politically and the impression is given of someone who enjoyed the trappings of power and wealth that went with his position, to the point of over indulgence. So why is this story so important? But it is more than that. The writer of Mark’s gospe...8221; F...

Midnight Strikes again | The Singing Librarian Talks
https://thesinginglibrarian.com/2013/09/08/midnight-strikes-again
The Singing Librarian Talks. Ramblings on libraries and life upon the wicked stage. Lightning may or may not strike twice, but midnight most certainly can. During the last two weeks of August, I revisited a show I first performed in during 2010,. The ensemble nature of the show meant that the 12 different personalities interacted in numerous (sometimes quite complex) ways, and exploring these was fascinating. Related posts (about When Midnight Strikes, the first time around):. A final toast to midnight.

http://writingsapb.blogspot.com/2013/01/grace.html
Sermons - mainly based on Lectionary Readings but also on themes. Monday, January 7, 2013. This sermon was inspired by the song “Freedom” by Paloma Faith from her album "Fall to Grace". Http:/ www.palomafaith.com/gb/home/. I began listening to Paloma Faith’s music after I discovered that she sang the song which featured in the recent John Lewis Advert. Recently, on a long car drive down from the Lake District, I was listening to her album “Fall to Grace”. 8221; might mean. Grace” is more familiar? And in...

Rev Andrew's Blog: Going Home
http://writingsapb.blogspot.com/2012/12/going-home.html
Sermons - mainly based on Lectionary Readings but also on themes. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Year C Advent 3. Zephaniah 3:14-20, Luke 3:7-18. Zephaniah talks about the people being gathered to be brought home (vs 20). This probably originally related to the time after the exile: you may remember many of the Israelites had been captured by the Babylonians and carried off to live in exile in a foreign land; but now, some time later, many are returning to their former home or the home of their forebe...
