Welcome to my world...: LOCK DOWN
http://steffiliz.blogspot.com/2009/08/lock-down.html
Wednesday, August 26, 2009. To fill with terror; make deeply afraid. I'm hoping we'll get more information and be enlightened because I still can't rest easy about it just yet. Not only was I relieved but I was still. When I saw him get off the bus today, even knowing everything was fine, still my heart leaped for joy at the site of his big green eyes, soft blonde hair, skinny lil body. First thing out of his mouth was, "Did you hear what happened today? Did anyone know what was happening? A drill. H...

Tuesday, December 2, 2008. He wouldn't have left without his sack! Or else I may never get to the point of this story.). Fairbanks, naturally, enjoyed himself immensely as we (and by "we" I mean the boys) slept soundly for the first several days of his escapades. Somehow this past Saturday amongst a host of friends and madness surrounding the 2008 Iron Bowl (ROLL TIDE! Alvin and the Chipmunks. And Dairy Queen. That boy is a sucker for some DQ. This year, we already know we're going to see. HALARRY.US...

Welcome to my world...: + Let Them Be Little +
http://steffiliz.blogspot.com/2009/08/let-them-be-little.html
Thursday, August 13, 2009. Let Them Be Little. Don't wait to make your son a great man - make him a great boy. There have been times in my adult life as a woman when I've wondered if I have ever. Truly loved a man or been loved by one the way God intended. Then one of these little skinny, snaggle. Tooth things comes and plops down beside me, wraps his arms around me, and tells me. This morning I had to let them go. Again. As I do so often as a mother, things come up: a sleepover, a playdate. I'm happy an...

Dream Weaver: August 2009
http://dreamweaver-matt.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. What a weekend. This has definitely been one of the highlights of my life (as if you couldn't tell from the pictures :) Amanda and I both apreciate all the prayers and for all the kind words/visits and gifts over the past few days. I'll try to recap as best as I can (which really isn't all that good because words really can't describe ow great this has been):. There's a verse in Job that sums up how I felt in the moment: ". That's actually probably an understatment, but I don't kn...

Dream Weaver: September 2009
http://dreamweaver-matt.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. Sorry for the LOOOOOONNNNNNG delay since my last post. With the new baby, helping with the VHS football teams, and a couple of sudden life-curveballs, it's been hard to get everything done. So blogging got pushed to the bottom of the pile. It's still going to be a few weeks before I really get back in the swing of things as far as blogging is concerned. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into posting daily. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
