FASHION: LEATHER AND SUEDE. Collared shirts and black jeans are pretty much my standard day to day uniform, so when I saw this blue cotton shirt. In Warehouse, I knew it had to be mine. Paired with my new real leather jacket (which I got for £30 down from £170 *squeal*), this is fast becoming my new favourite outfit. It's a great smart casual look, which I can dress up or dress down depending on the occasion! I've had a real thing for silver jewellery too lately, so I'm stocking up. The cage ring. BEAUTY...

HAIRCARE FAVOURITE: FAITH IN NATURE. I have never really stuck with one particular duo, though I did find myself regularly buying Herbal Essences, usually for the lovely smells. However, recently I was introduced to Faith In Nature. Faith in Nature were created around forty years ago, and their products are cruelty free, paraben free and have no synthetic colourings or fragrances. Perfect for perking up your hair! I have been absolutely loving using the coconut shampoo. THE TWENTIETH BIRTHDAY POST. BACK ...

BEAUTY: theBALM MARY LOU MANIZER HIGHLIGHTER. Highlighters haven't always been a necessary piece of my makeup collection, but as I've got more into contouring and adding definition to my face, I've definitely been buying more of them. Last week I was feeling quite spendy, and after browing the Feel Unique website and finding out that its actually one of the top rated products, I caved and bought theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer. At £17.50 for 8,5g, it is a little more that I'd usually spend on...Thank ...

Top Ten 2017 Debuts I’m Excited For. January 3, 2017. Well hello my long lost friend of TTT! I don’t think I’ve taken part in this weekly meme since probably March 2016- crazy and unforgivable because I adore reading these posts. I guess what I could say is despite this sadness, I haven’t added an even bigger amount of new books to add to my monstrous TBR list. So I guess that is a blessing! Anyhow, this week’s TTT topic is 2017 debuts I’m excited for, and boy do they all sound amazing! Scarlett has neve...

Tips On Writing A Book Review. January 4, 2017. I’ve offered my tips on “how to be a book blogger” previously on Emma’s Bookery, but I realised I had never discussed what I like to include in my book reviews. I won’t say my reviews are always top notch, but I try to stick to the points that I’m going to share with you all. Introduce where the book begins and your thoughts on the main characters. What the plot is building towards. This part is a little tricky, you want your reader to know where the story ...

Life in Nebraska ....
Life in Nebraska . Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Pictures I Didnt Take. We had a perfect day yesterday and I have no pictures of it. It was just a normal day of shopping in Lincoln. But there are so many moments I wish I could freeze in my time of life with these four kids of mine. Jeanie was bopping all around eating and trying to make a mess with the salt shakers. I'd take a picture of Zerrick carrying Jeanie for me when I needed extra arms. And one of the boys packing the groceries in the back for me.

Wednesday, 22 June 2016. Brexit 6000 BC: The lost land between Britain and Europe. Beneath the chop and slosh of the North Sea and the port-to-port beelines of ferries and container vessels, there’s a lost land. A part of Europe that is not Britain, or France, nor Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or Demark though it links us all. It’s an area larger than the United Kingdom and it’s known as Doggerland or perhaps more appealingly,. The changing coastline of Britain and Doggerland. Courtesy of Vince Gaffney.
