Immobile with fear that the pain will return, that the hormone therapy won't help, that the suggestion of having a complete hysterectomy by age 35 is the only option. The boys have no summer activities because it didn't make sense to sign them up, and pay for, swim lessons or soccer when we had no idea how long we'd be in town.
