Tuesday, December 29, 2009. We had a great Christmas this year. Eric's family sent a ton of gifts and of course about 95% of them were Rohbi's. Got up so she couldn't get into the presents without us being there. I waited and waited and waited. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. We decided that we needed a quick vacation before the baby came and I was going stir crazy so we planned a 3 day trip to Jackson Hole, WY. Also, we promised Rohbi that we would do something special when she finished her schooling because she worked so hard to get it finished before the baby came. We didn't really do anything special. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Riggs Kirt Bates. He weighed 7 lbs even and was 19 inches even. My pregnancy with him couldn't have been easier and the delivery was the same way! It all went so perfectly! After we had him, he was having breathing problems and blood sugar problems so he spent his first night in the NICU which was a little nerve racking but thank heavens for modern medicine! Monday, February 28, 2011. A few things I've realized. Losing two babies back to back was such a hard thing to go through. Eric and I had been married 2 months when we found out we were pregnant with Gunnar. And we were so excited. A few months later the wind was taken out of our sails when we lost him. There were soggy Rice Crispies that had sat there too long obviously because she was waiting for me to wake up, a roll, cookie, candy and a glass of water.
